I get your point, but stripped bolts? It does kind of make sense that it’s being denied. The dealership should out of good faith fix it, but I understand why they deny the claim.

If you go to a dealer to have an order put in, you don’t leave until the order is in and you receive confirmation.

There is a difference between agreeing on a price of a car on the phone and walking into a dealership.

What did your dealer say when you spoke to them?

Don’t bother me, I’ll buy from whoever gives me the price I’m comfortable with.

They get away with because it’s not illegal. Prices listed on a website have disclaimers.
