Got production model #1 from @RCI Offroad. I love the quality of this thing and so far zero wind noise. The group over at RCI are great! They nailed the fit and look.
Iāve got a ADD stealth fighter rear bumper and canāt find a sensor that will work with their cut outs. The Lux Badlands sensors didnāt fit, the plastic bumper ones didnāt fit but Iāve got them held in with RTV. They havenāt worked since I put the bumper on.
It is true, for at least the Ford Truck Ecoboost motors and the Bronco motors. It helps to keep cylinder head temps down. The turbos are cooled with both coolant and engine oil. The low RPM doesnāt spin the water pump fast enough. Granted, most of these Broncos wonāt see the low RPM high boost...
Not correct. You also have to realize that low RPM and higher boost creates heat in the motor. Ford uses fuel to help cool the cylinder down. So long, sustained low rpm and high(er) boost will result in lower fuel economy. As many have said, the Ford EcoBoost is either Eco or Boost, not both.
I DMāed Metalcloak on the āgram. They mentioned their bushings wonāt fit in the stock arms. They are actually making a new joint and new arms to work with the Bronco.
**update with daytime pictures. I did some more digging today on the parking sensors. Turns out the parking sensors AND bezels are different between the metal bumpers and plastic bumpers. It appears ADD made their bumper to accommodate the plastic bumper sensors. I have the plastic bumper...
Thatās a great call out on the regen on the downhill. Iāve noticed the same thing with an e-bike, it will regen for a while but they will cut out to help protect the system. Scary when the thing is a tank pointed downhill.
I mean like chopping the brackets off the frame. The Broncbuster broncos have them chopped up pretty good to fit the big meats they are running.
We know 35ās fit on the regular badlands but require wheel spacers.
Iām also convinced in my mind that the stock rear control arms limit movement so...
