You are welcome. Again, not hard core off roader so often a lot of the stuff on the site is beyond me. I am not a Ford fanboy, not a Jeep driver, just a guy who fell in love with a truck and wanted to know if the reality is near the hype. Short answer, I think it is from an average Joe (or in...
I do admit it was very sweet and I don't have direct comparison with non-Sas it just had a very different feel even to various jeeps. Can't put a finger on it. I am with you. I got an FE reservation and while I hope to use it for what it's intended for (with wife's approval of course), in no way...
Donāt get me wrong the salesman I worked with was very nice and willing to help. Small talk, ask. He asked me if I had a test drive reservation, which I didnāt. Went like this. Played the humble and sad card. Me-I completely understand, saw you had it and drove from out of town, daughter, blah...
I have to say it is a darn nice color and goes great with the MIC top that you probably wonāt get. Looked good in the rain, overcast and really think it will show nice in the sun. Would have been on my short list but not available on FE. As an additional comment the roof rack looked really good...
Depends on what you are doing with it. I wouldnāt unless itās something out of the ordinary. Personally Iād wait, drive it to the first tire rotation and then maybe decide from there. At worse they would be special use tires and you can put it on the rack and swap them for pretty cheap. Spend...
It actually is a dealer loaner. How crazy is that? The sales guy I drove with said they had it for a few days and everyone at the dealership and their moms have driven it already (although ironically he hadnāt yet).
No problem. As far as steering goes, I thought it was responsive and didnāt feel it was any worse than any of our SUVs that we have/had-Acura MDX/RDX or Lexus 400. Wasnāt as tight as my ILX and had a little give but never having driven a truck I canāt say more than that.
I noticed it but wasnāt taken aback by it or appalled by it. It was just like, ok I see you. Unfortunately, WI has front plate requirement although not often enforced. I may ask to not drill it especially as mine will have the bull bar. Where would they put it if you have that and the winch?
So itās weird because the seats on the website for that are completely different. They were like medium grey with a light grey middle and a very subtle pattern but were definitely cloth. Not sure how else to describe them and they are not on the site. Weird.
To be honest I really didnāt notice, which probably is a good thing. Just trying to stay on the road with a perma grin on my face. The Bronco had like an auto pilot and kept wanting to veer off into a field and go through puddles and over rocks for some reason. š¤„
Yeah, for real. It's an ILX so it sits really close to the ground (the front scratches every time I pull it out of the driveway) and that suspension is tuned to feel every bump and pebble. So, I wasn't necessarily associating it with road noise as I was only on the freeway for like a mile but it...
I believe it was grey/light grey with a pattern. They looked pretty decent, nothing good or bad, they were just what you'd expect out of a decent cloth seat. Felt pretty comfortable for my short ride as well.
