We went to RMNP yesterday, we got a timed entry bc I wanted to take them up Fall River Road.
Felt like Clark Griswold when we got there and it was closed for the day. And yup, we got rained on during the way back, too.
The Friday trip was Devil's Head to the fire watch tower.
We had our two dogs with us, so there wasn't enough room. When it's the two of us, even with the dogs, there's enough room and we can put the seats down.
That if you have friends in from out of town, and you plan a day trip/hike that's 2 hours and 15 minutes from the house, and the weather says "15% chance of light scattered showers" and you take the front and center panels off that-
A: It will rain. A lot. Like, starting right before you come...
I think this means there will be more unwheeled Broncos on the market later on. They're not going off road, might spill their Latte. You'll have people trading Sasquatch packages that have never left the pavement.
I got Gretchen last Friday and hit up Super Cel West Friday and Saturday. We had an awesome time, and got some pretty good pictures. I saw a post where someone started a photo dump for everyone to post photos on, which I thought was a great idea, we got a few cool pictures but don't have...
I finally got mine Friday afternoon. After much thought and consideration, I went with "So Fresh, So Clean" by Outkast.
I started my drive home with "Be Quiet and Drive" by Deftones, it's been the first song on every road trip and adventure for about 10 years at least.
I flew to Texas to pick up Gretchen on Friday morning, and road tripped her home to Colorado. (When I made the Day 1 res, I lived in Texas, and I elected to keep my dealer bc he wasn't adding ADM and stuck by his word)
I'm so beyond happy and overjoyed. Tomorrow we'll be taking her to Rocky...
I'm going to Texas tomorrow to pick up my Bronco, is it a coincidence this is the next weekend?!?
We live a few hours away so we'll probably be there Fri Sat
