Toyota needs to release these kickass vehicles in PHEVs. And if they're not going to offer sticks anymore (like since forever in the 4Runner) then they should be series hybrids with a motor at each wheel. Imagine instant torque exactly where you want it and not where you don't.
My experience is that they "can't find" the TSB and "couldn't hear" the noise. I picked it up after it sat for days in the cold so I asked for a tech to come out with me and listen. He heard it immediately and feels that it may be a bearing. I'm now waiting for a replacement ambient air temp...
It's far too late now, but this comes back to the earlier assertions that Ford really effed up the multiple suspension options by not making the Hitachi suspension the overlanding/towing setup and the Bilstein suspensions the high-articulation crawling setup. At least then we could have made...
I've been looking for some way to cleanly mount a radio in that spot, using the handle bolts as mount points to avoid drilling. Really glad to see that there's an option out there.
Has anyone had these shipped to Canada? Havoc can't or won't do it themselves and suggests a freight forwarder. I'm looking for any reviews or tips available.
Personally I'd love for the cowling with the light bar integrated in for a cleaner look. Does the cowling itself have a weight capacity with the rest of the rack removed? e.g. if I wanted to carry most of the weight of a canoe on the tower, with the cowling supporting the tip of the canoe so it...
That depends on what the pickup work is. You don't need a ton of bed for dump runs, hauling firewood to your campsite, bringing a deer home, etc. What's the bed length on the Maverick and Santa Cruz?
I'm interested in a Skyrider but also want a good roofrack at the same time. I know some manufacturers (Valkyrie, BA Tents, and others) offer roof racks where the front half can come off leaving the back half attached to the clamshell. I'm hoping that this would be a good compromise where I...
There is a hell of a lot of use case for this vehicle between Moab and the mall. It's not one or the other, and they aren't mutually exclusive either. Assuming that malls are still a thing where you live of course.
This is the problem with the softtop as well as the skyrider (not with the rack). We need a good sliding soft top option to get proper top less functionality without having to remove and reinstall roofrack all the time.
Has anyone gotten Havoc products shipped to Canada? They don't do it themselves and said I'd need to use a freight forwarding service, but don't have any recommendations.
