  1. Heritage/Everglades wheel question

Well this my first time ever considering upgrading past or outside of stock configurations. Yes, I was hoping to get some rehash with opinions from people such as your self who have vast knowledge. I freely admit my ignorance, and reason I participate on these forums. Yes I have read several...
  2. Heritage/Everglades wheel question

Thanks for the information but does not answer my question. I do not understand “proceed accordingly.”
  3. Heritage/Everglades wheel question

How big can you go without needing wheel spacers? I believe with level I can run a 35” X 12.5 in nitto or wild peak safely. However can even run 37” tire with proper suspension upgrades?
  4. Level kit size question

I have a 23 heritage 4d with ford performance winch kit installed and ARB skids. My current rake measured from bottom of fender wells to ground is 1” 5/8’s. I am thinking a 1” would be enough to leave some rake to carry gear and kids on family trips with out reverse rake effect. Would I need...
  5. HERITAGE EDITION Bronco Club

My Heritage Bronco is not just a looker anymore. This at 4x4 Life north of Baton Rouge, La. In the video we made up the hill a couple jeeps and broncos had to winch. This was bronco’s maiden trip and very happy with how it went. However, I did kinda mess up. So after it was all done and we were...

Decide to go a cheaper route as I will not be hardcore wheeling yet. I picked up some used OEM sliders and IAG v2 steps off Facebook marketplace. The steps were well used and had to drill snapped bolts from previous owner on two steps. I will have to complete thread tap one but other two...
  7. Need a new engine on my 2021 Badlands Sasquatch

Accidental water ingestion is normally covered by insurance, so claim against it. Also might be worth just replacing it yourself as your premiums would go up for awhile. I might add a non dealership shop will save you money and be more thorough on average. Trading might be on the table and let...
  8. Any 2023 Bronco owners have the Window Rattle issue?

Yes, my 23 will have this rattle over hard bumps or uneven terrain if does not have enough contact on the front guide section. It is gone when fully rolled up or down. These are pretty much like jeep half-doors. Those you had to add as an option from the factory and the option is soft uppers for...
  9. Rough Country Sliders - review / feedback?

Yeah, but got this statement last night when about to buy my RCI frame mount sliders and shock mount armor. "Honey, I don't think we are going to be smashing into boulders right away. Dear, Do we need that level of protection right away? It would be great if there was a cheaper option 🤨." It...
  10. Rough Country Sliders - review / feedback?

I apologize for not answering your question correctly. I believe OEM-level slider protection with a step function for my wife and children is where I fall. I hope once I get them use to off-roading, I will need a frame mount level of protection.
  11. Rough Country Sliders - review / feedback?

I believe that the square look will flow with the Heritage fender flares well.
  12. Rough Country Sliders - review / feedback?

Your recommendation mounting: Rough Country: Maybe I am missing something but I fail to see anything that supports your statement " These are actual frame bolted "sliders" that will support the vehicles weight on an impact whereas the Rough Country ones are, appearance wise, similar but...
  13. Rough Country Sliders - review / feedback?

I was originally considering a frame mount slider option but will not need that level of protection for a couple of years. Just looking for an OEM slider equivalent to protect and would run just those but my wife /kids need a step. Does anyone have experience with rough country sliders...
  14. Heritage Build

I am considering going with Rough Country sliders over my original RCI selection. I think I can get by without full slider armor as it will be a minute before the hardcore trails happen with family in tow. Also, the RC sliders do follow that square finder look and would provide better protection...

Completed: 74 Weld stage 1. Icon Tie Rods. Mabett door handle storage. One thing I have to say about this steer up grade. I makes your steer very tight and responsive. I over steered on the first lane change to say the least. I am glade the wife was not with me😁. Up Next: RCI sliders RCI...

I am in complete agreement with your statements on wheeling. I have never wheeled a vehicle with lockers only a rear LSD and open front. You are probably right and I don't need to add the 74 weld stage one kit but it is too late. I just don't have good luck so far in it should not break department.
  17. Heritage Build

Thank you for the detailed feedback. The RSE steps I am nervous about as I know a guy personally, who had a malfunction on the trail and ended up draging them deployed over an obstacle. On the suspension you are probably right, I will wait and do a complete lift. However, I don't want to...
  18. Heritage Build

That is great but for a wife's stamp of approval, it has to be a step. She is short.
  19. Parody Bronco Joke Dad's Edition

If that is true, what is it on the hunt for?
  20. Heritage Build

I originally wanted an Everglades but those seats. Most of southern Louisiana where I live is like the Everglades but minus the breeze. I felt they would become a sweat box.
