Mahalo for the great review! Ya the Bimini for me will me a must once I move from cloudy Michigan to sunny Hawai'i. I plan on just leaving the top off most of the time. I am hoping other aftermarket manufactures besides Bestop develop soft tops for the 2-door Bronco.

Jeremy how is the Ford Bimini top on your 2-door? I saw people complain about the four-door version being loose fitting and flapping around At highway speeds.

Welcome to the group. I have a 2-door First Edition and last week finally got my vin# for a September 27 build week.

That's not backcountry..... that's just Canada :cool: Looks good!

Many First Edition reservations cancelled along the way due to.... they hated navy pier, FE's weren't special enough, and oh ya Ford added 3500, etc, etc. When its all said and done there will be far less than 7000 and even fewer 2-doors :)

I’m currently living in Michigan but moving to Hawaii next year so im thinking of mounting the front license plate to the bash plate 😁

Hey Greg how does the front license plate attach to the grill? Is it some sort of tabs placed behind the grill or screwed to the front blue facia below the grill? FYI it looks amazing!

There was hail last night throughout Metro Detroit and currently 600,000 people do not have power. I would say we’ve had and abundance amount of hail storms this summer. It’s just luck of the draw if it happens where you live or where those Broncos are parked.

In Michigan not so much but it definitely happened to tens of thousands of rental cars that were sitting in Hawaii during the initial shut down in 2020. Rats got into the cars along with plenty of jungle rot and mildew.

I’d be more worried about the huge thunderstorms and 70 mile hour winds that rolled through that area last night!

Cyber orange pearlescent metallic is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde depending on how much light is thrown on it. Definitely not a color I would pick for a Seattle but the perfect color for Hawaii with its intense sun 😎

This post has me thinking that instead of putting a forward bend in the plate steel to match the angle of the Bronco’s bash plate I will put a reverse bend in it. This will serve two purposes. One it will give the plate a bit more give if I bash it into anything and more importantly with this...

Lowe’s and Home Depot sell it and if you ask nicely they may even cut it for you Or any small local shop would do it for you. Personally since I have a mechanics garage and all the accompanying tools for $12 and a half hour of my time I’ll be all set 😉
