IIRC a Ford Raptor engineer mentioned they use the aluminum diff cover for heat dissipation and not jut for weight savings. Any reason why you went with the steel cover?
I'm hoping to get some clarity here.
Which set is the correct lug nut size for the Braptor with 17" forged beadlock capable wheels?
64074 or the slightly longer 64034? Thanks.
Got $81K on a $98K MSRP '24 Braptor at sunrisefordnoho.com. They had 4 black Braptors which may have motivated them because 6-7 other SoCal dealers essentially told me to pound sand.
Two phone chat negotiation. Ez transaction. Ask for Steve or Brandon (internet sales mgr). Gl and thanks...
I'm thinking I'd get a much better deal on a dealer lot 24, right? I'm curious what y'all have been able to nail down on a straight up purchase locally (i.e. no trade in, lease).
I'm only interested in a CF interior, leather seat '24, all black. Thanks!
I just test drove one in Seattle over the holidays. It's definitely better built than the light duty feel of the USA made Bronco Raptor. The B58 BMW under hood is a superior engine to the Ford lump further detuned to enjoy a longer service life. You can just tell the Gren was built to last...
The market's spoken. This is a $70-75K truck new. They'll continue to rot on dealer lots including the 2025s. Nothing material has changed. Same chassis. Same V6. Same suspension.
What has changed are stronger economic headwinds since launch.
Sorry to break it to you, but never in a million years would I spend $100K on a GLS or E wagon. Snooze fest mommy mobiles worth nothing in 3 years rotting away in anonymity.
I'm not saying a Braptor is worth $98K, but it's definitely a ticket to a well engineered adventure off-road.
$100K...
You're leaving thousands of dollhairs on the table if you're buying a new Braptor at anywhere near MSRP even on the West Coast.
Sketchy economic outlook, high interest rates and the lack of a better V6/V8 is hurting sales. I have zero complaints about the current Braptor as is especially at...
Looks great!
Any concerns with the additional 17 lbs you're loading up on the rear door w/ the meatier Ridge Grapplers v OEM K02s? That's a lot of dynamic force.
I was able to get MSRP on a $98K Braptor in LA this past weekend. I think MSRP is no problem for a new 2024. I'm wanting to get after under MSRP. There are many sitting on lots right now.
Would appreciate any legit Ford sales reps in LA who are willing to wheel and deal especially when...
