I believe they may even take it off MSRP up front this go around. But either way , will come off at time of purchase for these final private offer āprice protectionsā
See my other thread regarding this. You will have to force the dealer to take this to some other level internally. I had 7/15/20 reservation , no offer supposedly. After 2 days of wrangling , they figure it out, sorta. So you will have to force the issue sadly. But if you got 7/14/20...
My perseverance paid off it appears, after going to GM level and who knows where from there, after long 2 days of waiting, dealer was able to confirm my Price Protection amount for what I ordered , was supposed to be for what I reserved in 2020 but ā¦. Itās a win! Picking it up tomorrow ...
So far no ultimatum. So I think they still trying to figure it out. Or maybe Iām naive and they already sold it to someone else. I will call Ford again tomorrow to see if thereās anything I can do, or anyone else I can talk to. Thanks
I hear ya. And agree. Iām waiting out today. Will propose they meet me in middle and raise my trade value half the PP amount to get it sold to me, and offer they keep the PP if they ever sort it out. I could live with what amounts to. Still leaves a bit to be desired. But I could live...
Thanks for kind words. Yeah, I left the dealership , with no Bronco in hand to try and sort it out. I have same feelings as you. The Promise.. on their own website. Dealer probably clueless honestly. Itās not money out of their pocket either way, unless they feel they could make...
That stinks. But glad you got your truck. Iām facing same decision today. Eat two weeks pay over a missing certificate that Ford has promised and promoted for years or walk away.
So what was the outcome ? Fords own website outlines the program in a way that doesnāt seem debatable. And certainly shouldnāt expire until everyoneās backlogged builds are complete. Im contemplating what to do, given once you got no certificate , there seems to be no one anywhere at Ford...
No agreement but figured it wouldnāt be an issue on a 7/15/20 reservation. Price protection doesnāt seem a secret or debatable given itās posted on Ford own website. Called marketing, they agree I should get it , but if no real help, claim itās probably a typo in my name or address when order...
I went to pick mine up today , mostly worried about the trade. That was no issue as it turned outā¦. but no Price Protection certificate for a 7/15/2020 reservation. No idea how to correct it, but Dealer will likely just move on to next buyer I assume. Crazy. What a hassle to get to the...
Iāll ask this question, anyone reading this successfully gotten price protection on a second early reservation Bronco?
If itās one per customer, at least that would explain it, although not well, as itās not mentioned anywhere in the often referenced FAQs. Thanks everyone. I appreciate...
Thanks for your insight. Iām holding out hope and what youāre saying makes sense. The dealer made me a fair offer (we both win) on my ā22 Big Bend, and I thought that was that ! Then I asked them to check the Price Protection and got the bad news.
I may offer that if they split the...
Part of the problem, as I see it, is it easier to figure out why my price protection certificate isnāt there, or just call the next guy waiting to buy one happily at MSRP. I hope thatās not the case, but letās be realistic. Not sure my next move , but Iād be highly surprised they get this...
Elyria Ford. Theyāve been ok to deal with and Iām certain itās not an issue at their end. But $2845 certificate is hard to let slide. Unclear if mine expired, and needs re instated , or itās one per customer, not one per Bronco. Ford had never stated one per customer so that seems...
Ok. That makes some sense potentially. Definitely not something I considered lol. They dealer still allegedly trying to sort it out now. If true, one per person, may upset many more folks as that wasnāt really mentioned anywhere that Iāve read. Thanks for the insight.
Thank you good sir. Dealer now states itās one price protection per household or I guess person. ? Seems like dealer speak for we will easily sell it someone else. āEach Bronco should Qualify correct, not one use⦠which was $695 on my first Big Bend. Ugh⦠I assumed the PP piece would be...
Thanks for the replies. Believe me , I understand how itās supposed to work. Iām saying itās not ā¦. Are there any tips when you got no certificate despite having 7/15/2020 reservation. Itās a $2845 typo somewhere.
