You can now, but it requires you to choose the HOSS 3.0 upgrade. From Bronco Nation on Feb 22nd:
'Now, Ford is revealing the HOSS 3.0 system, available as an option on the MY22 Wildtrak. The new package is designed to take on the desert’s whoops with FOX 2.5-inch Internal Bypass Dampers, the...
Ford Authority published an article on Feb 16th that says that anyone (except Wildtrak order holders) who has ppf in their order who has yet to get a build week had it automatically removed from their order by Ford on Feb 15th and vehicle pricing has been adjusted accordingly. Ford said 14% of...
I replaced the factory tires on my '88 Bronco II with General Grabber ATs. They were nice tires - good in snow and on the trails. They were my 2nd favorites to the BFG KO2s I had on my '98 Ranger.
I'm not holding my breath. I got a MY22 order confirmation email from Ford on Nov 2nd, even though I thought my dealer submitted my order on 10/14 and then again when it was revised on 10/26. I called my salesman and left a message asking why the confirmation came so late but I haven't heard...
Hmmm. My understanding is that a priority code of 99 makes an order suspended. If someone wants to hold off because they want a slide-out tailgate, for instance, they can have their dealer set their p-code to 99 and change it next year when the option is available. My priority code is 10.
Ford said they won't raise prices for 2021 order holders who are pushed to 2022. If that's true then they shouldn't charge additional money for the heavy duty modular steel bumper for Badlands and Black Diamond orders.
Were the front crash bars removed? They are with the Sasquatch package. You'll likely get rubbing if you don't when you drive off-road. I think Sasquatch comes with a small lift too. Are you going to get wider fender flares? In most U.S. states it's illegal to drive with tires that are wider...
It's quite apparent you are not Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting because you seem to think 3" bigger tires = 3" greater ground clearance, forgetting that the axle sits in the center (half way). Therefore, not considering lifts and other aspects of the suspension 3" bigger tires gives you 1.5"...
JB Reviews put out a recent video on YouTube that says the ground clearance for the Badlands is 11.3". He isn't confusing it with the Sasquatch because he correctly states earlier that the Sasquatch 4 door clearance is 11.5". I'm not sure why they would be so close given the Sasquatch tires are...
I wouldn't agree with your assessment of ground clearance. The Base 4-door is the least which is 8.3", which does more or less fall within the limits of regular cross-overs, but all of the other trims are > 9", which is beyond all cross-overs except those with air suspensions.
I think it looks like a great 3-row crossover that will outperform most vehicles in its class, off-road. Being single, I definitely prefer the Bronco. I prefer body-on-frame SUVs in general and have had a thing for Broncos ever since my dad (who worked for Ford) brought a 1st gen home as a loner...
According to Toccoa's timeline it appears 2022 production starts in December. I'm guessing there'll be some retooling, which may take a week or more for the Heritage Edition, etc.
I hope you're right about this. If that's true then I'll press ahead with my order. I thought it looked like a factory option (like painted hardtops) and was simply being delayed for the sake of limiting variations on the assembly line. My post may turn out to be moot, but if that is the case...
I reserved a 4-door Badlands on 07/14/20 but I decided on Friday (11/13/20) to hold off on ordering one after I read an article in Ford Authority saying 'With the Bronco four-door optional slide-out tailgate that arrives late next year, sleeping comfort can be extended more than a foot in length...
