  1. Do I need hard shackles with this set-up?

Ahhh, good point....thanks! Clearly I'm new to this offroading recovery thing ;)
  2. Do I need hard shackles with this set-up?

Serious question....in what scenario would a hard shackle mounted to this front recovery hole be preferred over a soft shackled mounted in the lower spot or is the hole only there for folks that only have a hard shackle? Basically trying to decide if I should also buy some hard shackles or if...
  3. Do I need hard shackles with this set-up?

It does go through and I didn't even think of it, but see the post above. Thanks!
  4. Do I need hard shackles with this set-up?

Haha....I didn't even think of that lower mounting spot. It looks like you have the same shackles too. Good to know...thanks!
  5. Do I need hard shackles with this set-up?

I just went out to look at the recovery points and they do seem somewhat sharp. I suppose I'll use the soft shackles for the rear bumper recovery points and pick up the SITH or the Gear America shackles for the front. Thanks everyone....Happy New Year's Eve!
  6. Do I need hard shackles with this set-up?

I just ordered 2 of these soft shackles: https://www.bubbarope.com/gator-jaws-synthetic-shackles/gator-jaw-pro-synthetic-shackle and this kinetic rope: https://www.bubbarope.com/jeeps-and-trucks/bubba-rope-30-foot Should I also get hard shackles for the front bumper or do the soft shackles...
  7. Navy pier hate

IMO, it's not as bad in person as the initial photos, but I'm still much happier I had an option for all black

  12. JcrOffroad - prototyping begins!

Any initial ideas on if a frame mounted rock slider can be made that doesn't require drilling, but will support the weight of the vehicle?
  13. ARB Website Updated With Their Current 2021 Bronco Products

Agreed...I hope they are 100% frame mounted and can double as a step of sort (even though they are angled a bit) and will help prevent road debris. If so, then these may be the best option for me. I'll wait to see install instructions / better photos etc.
  14. ARB Website Updated With Their Current 2021 Bronco Products

I wish they would show mounting instructions or installed photos under the Bronco as well. They definitely say no drilling or cutting required, but the wording of chassis instead of frame makes me think these are not frame mounted.

  16. AR | S.I.T.H. Modular Bumper Shackle - Common Hardware REIMAGINED

I'm debating watermelon Sugar on Lightning Blue or waiting for Black or Lightning Blue SITH's....any idea on ETA for these other color options? Thanks for making such bad ass products!
  17. AR | FIRST EDITION Badge VIN Project

This is a much better idea! I'm in if you do it this way, but may wait awhile if it involves shipping back and forth in case Ford decides to do something directly. Also, I don't love the risk of losing it in the mail if a replacement can't be ordered.

  19. fake ticket put on my front windshield

I didn't find it funny and I was pissed for a solid 5-10 minutes since my Bronco is totally stock and I wasn't anywhere near the sidewalk. I can laugh about it now, but it wasn't my favorite prank...hah.
  20. fake ticket put on my front windshield

This was left on my Bronco today. I was pissed at first until I realized it was fake. Be on the lookout and always read the fine print before getting mad
