The lights I ordered had the white -back light - wireā¦. It just wasnāt exposed but if you cut the wire wrap youād see it. At least on the pod lights I got.
I agree. Iāll just add, in my opinion, rain like testing has not been tested on a soft top. High pressure water testing is not equal to heavy down pour. The failure in design is the lack of capability to handle large amounts of water - not necessarily water applied at high pressure.

There is a third white wire that is used for the backlight. Itās just not exposed - but itās in there - at least it was on mine.
Yes, there is a wire that is pre-run to the front grill which could be used to wire the pod lights on the front bumper.
Ford's Overland build had them on the corners of the front bumper.
No. I decided not to wire the back light for three reasons;
I didnāt want to use another switch;
I didnāt have extra wire on me at the time and;
I feel like I wouldnāt use the back light unless I had several of these mounted together in a row.

I ran my wires slightly different:
The Red line is where I ran the red wire. I removed all the clips (Yellow circles) which allowed that piece to be slightly lifted and easily tuck the wire behind.
The Blue circles is where I grounded the Black wire for each...
