My thoughts exactly, my Acura(which is a glorified Civic) has a tendency to think I'm leaving my lane when in reality I'm in the middle of the lane and try and steer me the wrong way. I will say it has saved my butt once or twice when I've zoned out.
Also agree with the adaptive cruise...
Bummed my base Bronco won't have the keyless entry, thats one of my favorite features on my Acura right now. Its one of those things that doesn't seem like much, but makes life so much easier.
So it seems California isn't all that strict on lifts oddly enough, so my Bronco should still be far more legal than my 86, which is a cops rolling wet dream right now.
I know on the 2020 Mustang I test drove you could turn off both the hill assist and the stop/start in the menu and it wouldn't come back on. Thankful they do it that way because pressing a button everytime I get in would be so annoying.
Luckily never had any issues with neighbors or HOAs, even as my house is stacked to the brim with cars, and my AE86 leaked oil all over the street (whoops?) Still not a fan of the idea and hope they all get abolished one day.
Yup, paint to sample ain't cheap. People just need to chill, if the color bugs them that much, just freaking wrap it. Then they can change colors as much as their little hearts desire.
I'm not drunk enough for this right now. Like others said, maybe Basecamp if there had to be an alternative, but I'm fine with just a base. 99% of people will never ask, so who cares.
I'd at least like a go in a manual to get a feel for the shifter and clutch. I'm really sensitive to those things so it would be nice to know whether or not I like how it shifts or not. I doubt I'll get the chance, given that even if they do happen to ship out Pre-production models to dealers...
Depends on if I'm moving to NorCal or not. If I stay in SoCal, I'll have the desert to play in and all sorts of local trails. I'm not sure what its like up north, but I'd imagine I'd probably do more camping up there, so maybe I'd give it more of an overlander vibe than desert truck.
In all...
So bummed Velocity blue isn't coming out right at launch, its amazing on the Mustangs. I'm between white, antimatter blue and rapid red, although I don't know if I love the Bronco in red enough to pay $395 for it. Antimatter blue is probably my favorite right now, I just don't like how dark it...
Trying to keep the cost low on my base, I really hope the tow package isn’t that much, and I hope the estimated price for the aux switches is a bit lower too. Those are the only 2 options I really want. I can get a roof rack later on.
Whenever my base model Bronco comes in, it'll be a definite downgrade in terms of features from the Acura I'm driving now, with all the driver safety features, a banging stereo, red leather interior and ride comfort.
But thats not the point of the Bronco, I was drawn in by how capable it is...
