Amazon also posts "SNA Mudflaps" (below)which seem to be identical to the Mabett/IAG product for (currently) $99. I broke a Mabett front flap (careless with wheel turn during installation). Mabett @Amazon would sell me the front two for 89, but "SNA" gives me all 4 (plus hardware) for $10 more...
Handsome! The WildTrak + Sasquatch logo are especially impressive. Imagine being able to do that for every Bronco trim!
I see the issues as 1) Do you market to rockcrawlers, or daily drivers, or both? 2) If the former, is it strong enough to protect the pinchseam? That's a serious engineering...
What you're saying is: There's a good chance your question has been addressed in other thread(s), so take a moment and search before starting a new one! For example: how many threads do we have on compressors already???
Check their catalog. 10% discount if you order through thebronconation site. Recovery Boards come to mind.
Regarding rooftop cargo: Once I have mine installed (in about a week) I'm thinking an aerodynamic Thule or Yakima cargo box, which I'll use for major treks but remove for my daily drive...
Trailrax: Wouldn't be too complicated to come up with your own product. With the right fittings, it could mount on the PackRax, maybe include/combine attachments for other on-the-trail items: saw, axe, water/fuel containers, eight-burner Viking stove...
To the poster who's worried that if (front) Mabett mudflaps catch on something, they'll bend or rip out the fender's rim sheet metal: Don't worry! the mudflap will probably break off, first.
My bad news: I had installed the right front, no problem. The left front was 2/3 installed (the outside...
Just came up with a simple and embarassingly obvious solution: a portable step that attaches to the vehicle wheel. Standing on the step for near cargo, or up onto the wheel itself for hard-to-reach items. People with roof tents would have product-specific ladders, of course. Thule has a pricey...
Point well taken. I drive the Badlands/Sas/Lux/4Dr/MIC
I put on a FabFour premium winch bumper, Warn8 winch, mudflaps, iAG full-length steps, Ford storage/drawer/cargo box, Rockslide rear gate table, and a ThorsLightning compressor rig. My mileage has dropped 2-4 mpg. Next up will be the...
Since this is a "wish list," I'd love to have an exterior mirror with power folding arms. Had them on my top-of-the-line Toyota Sienna. A great convenience, especially when you're parked on a narrow street.
And maybe an extendable arm for when you're trailering.
This is from the other site, cut-ond-paste:
I installed the Aeroskin II hood deflector on my Bronco. I used some painter's masking tape (easily removed) to mark the desired location / fit which helped once I started peeling the tape off of the adhesive strips. Not too difficult to install...
