From my understanding, if the APIM is not firmware updated prior to going into the different car it will eventually be unusable with the next firmware update.

I tried searching, but forum searches suck. I have a base stereo in my 2021. While I am tearing open my dash I figured I would upgrade those speakers. What is a legit improvement that is just a simple plug and play. (the 4" ones near the windshield) Thanks! Heck the kick panel ones too....

Very basic in my Bronco. It's more extensive; at least it will be again once I replace the power feed system in my PW.
