Southern Off Road is a good choice. They opened a new larger facility in Cumming last year. Have not had work done yet with them but they are good folks and ha e been in the business quite a while. They really want to be one of the go to Bronco shops around.
@Gene Dios Thought this weekend may work but turns out it won't on my end. I am in Alpharetta area. Look forward to connecting with the group for trail rides soon.
It took a while. Blend date was 8/3 and it finally arrived to Granger on 9/20. It didn’t show as built until 8/20 and then it started the month-long journey on trains and a truck.
It is getting challenging. Good news is that I don't have to commute everyday and I usually take side roads to the office when I do.
I was hoping to do more of what you are planning but that was when I was thinking I would get it in the summer. Needed to get back quickly this time.
Nashville is a good place to stop. Try that little side excursion when you pass the lake heading toward Chattanooga. It is the first exit after you cross over. I like Chattanooga but I don't like driving through it.
I had just under 1,000 miles to drive to the North Metro ATL. Left Friday afternoon and drove to Evansville, IN that night. That was about 8 hours and finished up the last 7 hours on Saturday. Most of the drive went pretty well.
Did some highway driving and some interstate driving. I cut of...
Well team, I finally got the Badlands home. After 800 days from reservation to pulling into the driveway. It has been a long wait.
Really like it and am re-learning the nuances of driving a manual transmission again. Look forward to joining you all out on some trail rides in the future!
@21BroncoFlyer I do have it but it was not giving me any more information once it hit Chicago. Since I saw your response, I decided to try again. It actually made it to Omaha today. Now the wait for the short final last stretch. Ours will likely be on the same truck to Granger!
How did you all track it to Omaha? Mine was on CSX and I could track to Chicago and now it is sitting in Blue Island, IL but Ford Marketing does not have any other information on it other than they say it is supposed to delivery by the 17th. There is no way that is happening. I was 08/03...
Congratulations!! I have been thinking about who else in our group would get pulled.
There are many aftermarket rock rails that have more of a step to them. Look forward to seeing your rig when it comes.
I have had two of these slings waiting in my garage for the exact same reason for some time now! Just waiting for the Badlands to come home. Great to see how well it works.
@TootieQuivers Welcome and congratulations. Mine has been built but is sitting at MAP waiting for a train. I don't think anyone has looked to make stickers out of the logo. Both the logo and the header graphic were made by forum members when we started it. I am not sure that we have the...
Looks like things are moving now for our group. In my tracker app it looks like only 331 now with the same vehicle status. It was over 700 plus last week. Hope yours get completed soon.
