In the video, Jon points out that the wire harnesses on the doors are held on using the electrical hinged door cover on the frame. I wonder if this is the same mechanism found on 7-pin covers where the wire harness doesn’t clip in at all... this would be awesome if that is the case. I hate...
I’m interested in seeing how easy this actually is since I’d like to run doorless as often as possible but don’t want it to be something I just never get around doing... surprisingly I don’t see a lot of Jeep Wranglers run doorless in Florida.
I don’t think not being able to take the top off on the road is going to prevent me from taking the doors off... In some instances I’d probably be rolling around with the mess bimini top and feel the desire to take the doors off too...
Also, some onboard storage options include storing the...
J/K... I posted the video link about 20 minutes before the video premiered. @Administrator thought it would be funny to modify my post to remove the “premieres in 20 minutes” comment... shame on you @Administrator
Are those of you familiar with the trail camera on other Ford products, does it always turn off no matter the setting/mode when the vehicle it’s a certain speed similar to what happened in this video when the camera cut out when the drivers caught up to the others?
Still no engine compartment shots... all well, it still reassures me that I’m making the right decision with the 4-door... so missing the show this weekend won’t sting too bad.
So, I was interested in researching the Jeep Wrangler 4xe that is coming out later this year to see what was so exciting about it. Well, the bottom line to me is nothing much at all. Sure, it would be nice (if needed) to recharge you rig on the Moab trail if you run out of juice or have some...
Your post prompted me to conduct some additional research into the matter. According to several Engine RPM calculators online, including CrawlPedia, Engine RPM can be calculated at any speed given the vehicle's tire size, axle ratio, and final transmission gear ratio.
[ (Axle Ratio x Vehicle...
It appears my original calculations were based off of a final transmission gear ration of 1:1. I conducted additional research on the matter and corrected my calculations in the next post. Also, I did some reading to find out what overdrive is and it is essentially a generic term used to...
I’m in the same boat with getting a Sasquatch package or simply upgrade to optional wheels and tires on the BL. I’m trying to do the math on the final drive gear to see if leaving the 4.46:1 is better for the 33s or upgrading to the 4.70:1 for an upgrade at a later date... 4.70:1 using 33s is...
Did anyone else notice the Warthog go from dirty to clean during the spy video? Lol... how long was this guy being followed? I think I would have implemented evasion techniques after 10 minutes...haha ?
