No scheduling this week, this email came today:
Kansas City Region and Dealers:
Any Bronco orders (hard top or soft top) that are currently previewing in the Assigned Build Week of 10/18 on your AM Preview report will NOT be selected for scheduling tomorrow, Thursday, September 2nd.
No idea what's wrong with them, this is the Ford way, no info to the dealer, never acknowledge there's a problem to anyone. Sometimes the media catches it or it gets so big they have to acknowledge (hardtop Broncos, F150s built without chips, etc), but usually they just sit and then someday...
No ideas, concerned about if they're shipping or just adding to the dirt mountain collection. Our second Mannequin unit was built 8/17 with a softtop and is stuck at produced staus and never ships, just like hardtops. Looking on here lots of others say there in the same boat. So I hope they'll...
Here's what I did on our Mannequin. Bracket from Craig's Mustang brackets, they come with a stick on stud, but I just used one of the Bronco bolts. I had to bend the bracket to get the angle right. Also this is for the modular bumper, and if you have adaptive cruise control I think the metal...
Curt sent out fliers a couple weeks ago, I'm sure same boards as they already make, just new brackets to bolt them to Bronco, so I expect them soon.

I don't know what the real number was supposed to be, but I'm guessing real number after the top change will be 25% less (but that's just a guess).
Seeing that September allocations are being used through October this week (and October allocations got canceled), I'd say at least one month...
I'm in the same boat, my build moved up to the 7th yesterday and got my sticker. Normally they'd go to the in production status on Monday, but I'm assuming with the holiday, we're one business day early.
We don't know yet. October allocations were released, then they were all canceled due to the hard top issue. We were told this month was supposed to be balance out, but rep wasn't sure if would be Oct/Nov/Dec build or if they'd delay balance our a month and just do Oct. I know they assumed...
Just looked, I'm no longer week of 9/6, now scheduled to day. 9/10 build date. Plus side to not having scheduling for so many weeks, VIN assigned to production time is much shorter than it is on other lines.
Well, I never got the email (and Ford.com still shows ordered with dealer), but I'm in the 9/6 club. Vehicle Visibility shows the VIN and date, but no email from Ford (also never got the posters, in the mail, guess they don't like me) Badlands, 2.7L , Sas Lux. 7/13 reservation, switched to...
Trailer tow was on the list of commodities I was given. Now how big of a commodity depends on how many want it. Based on my orders, I think the mass majority 75% or more, but that might just be regional and if so national rate could be lower where its a commodity, but not a major one.
What I...
It affects the whole industry, my guess is that Bronco will get the chips it needs by sacrificing other (less profitable) production like they've been doing with Edge and Escape. F150's had a slight cut, but its been just enough to keep anyone from even thinking about rebates due to low...
Can't say, each dealer will be different. My orders got allocation through 7/15 reservations, and after those waiting for 22 tops, I'll get to 7/17. However, commodities are the unknown, Wildtrak and 2 door (more so WT in my opinion) could push you to 22, we don't know until scheduling...
Gotta save things to get people to trade in the future! I expect not much to change or get added the first few years, but Bronco will be a bit tricky, you can't change the look of it greatly to get people to want the newest one, and if you don't change it, there's no reason for current owners...
