I’m assuming this switch housing is for countries where rear facing fogs are required. Does that mean there are also rear fogs that ford makes for the Broncos that this switch housing goes in? I’d be curious to see them.
I agree. I’ve been shopping around for a bumper that will go well with the adv fiberglass 2” fenders I ordered and it seems like everything sticks out way too much. The ADD stealth bumper is the best I’ve seen but I don’t like how the crash bars are so exposed. Everything that covers the crash...
More importantly, research the context like I have and you’d know it’s even less indicative of an issue than someone sending it or crawling too hard.
The owner had heavily modified the Bronco and was waiting for this failure to take place. I should have saved the link to his post about it with how many times I’ve seen this incorrectly referenced but alas I didn’t. The failure was in no way on Ford and he even says as much.
Glad they’re moving and stopped setting their equipment on our hoods. Hopefully if there is a issue with soft top and blizzards conditions this will highlight it beyond denial for ford too.
Window sticker shows final assembly on 1/28. Modules populate on modules page as of last week. Spoke to dealer yesterday, said it’s waiting on a chip with an estimated date of last week of February to first week of March. Not holding my breath for anything other than no damage from snow on the...
Wow! Crazy to think they haven’t solved this problem already. Glad that’s all it is though. Looks like I need to check the back on it too for damage.
Just got an email from my dealer with these pictures attached. Black Diamond arrived with “transport damage”. Can’t get any further information other than it is going to at least require a new hood and grill.
Normally I would just refuse the order and place another order in this situation or...
In my experience with the F150 and Forscan it will depend on if they truly did/do plan on putting the 12” cluster in the higher trim models. If so it will be as easy as changing a few numbers and letters in Forscan and it will display the correct trim. If not, then you’ll be stuck with the...
Agreed. I’d guess the cost would be around $2000 when you’re all said and done but we’ll see. Might need a wiring harness section too but hopefully not.
I’m guessing it will be years before purchasing the parts is feasible. I’m sure there will be a few available from totaled Raptors but the usual Ford OEM part supplier sources will take a while to get this kind of thing.
The first step will be getting some Raptor owners to share their Forscan...
