JKJK, I'm in san antonio as well.... a day 1 res... waiting on my 2 door pokemon of a unicorn to finally arrive..... MAC HAIKS FORD HURRY THE HELL UP GAH DAMMIT 😂
My botched order rolled off the assembly line last week and as of last week the dealer swears the replacement order for my 2 door is held up because of the 2.7, hard top, 2 door configuration.... I think they're full of it since they're a big dealer, but we'll see... in the mean time I'm just...
I saw a real nice brand new 4 door outerbanks with MIC when leaving the atrocious Cowboys game Sunday. It was a nice consolation lol. Made me confirm I'm sticking with waiting for mine to come.
Good to know. I've been wondering how the road trip comfort compares to an F150. Went on a road trip with my pops in his Diesel F150 and it got crazy gas mileage and felt really luxurious (king ranch with nice leather).
If you like your jeep I say just keep it, build it to your liking and in a few years if you still want a bronco get one then. If i was smitten with a jeep at the moment a bronco wouldn't be on my radar with all the delays and constraints currently.
I think this is more common on frameless windows. in my car when the windows freeze it has a "failsafe" that you have to reset for the windows to work again.
Even if the "giant" failure rate of the 2.7 (isn't it like 24 out of 4000 at the moment?) was less than that, you'd still be taking a risk that something fails in your bronco, be it the 2.7 or something else entirely.
Test drive it when you get it and follow your gut/intuition.
I think that's probably the number 1 delay with 2 doors and why there aren't more on the road. For some reason it seems like the 4 door hard tops get made quicker than the 2 doors.
Ford hasn't really said anything at all since the announcement of mic 2.0.
Anyone guess how top...
nope not nuts at all!
I originally was set on a black diamond with the ecoboost, but realized a loaded basesquatch was the better buy for me. I'd rather have the sasquatch goodies for on road comfort instead of the vinyl interior or mid package. basesquatch 2 door MIC with 2.7 and modular bumper...
Just re-read your post, if its just the hardtop thats wrong I say take the dang bronco. You can get the top wrapped or painted, sell it and buy an aftermarket top, etc.
They could've messed up worse and changed it to a soft top or lower trim, etc.
Play the game with them and see if you can jedi...
Not to be a douche but the majority of salespeople only care about making sales. The adm thing is hilarious though! to his credit, he's probably only heard it referred to as "market adjustment"
At least he didn't try and argue with you about trims and features. Thats my biggest complaint, when...
my dealer did something similar. "accidentally" changed my order to a 4 door soft top outer banks, I caught it, only for them to last minute "accidentally" input the order as a 4 door hardtop... 2 doors more than I wanted....
It sucks, dealer has said they'll give me priority with the exact...
I haven't dealt with ADM (yet), but when my dealer screwed up my order and wouldn't respond, I had to contact customer service like 3-4 times before the dealer finally reached out to correct the issue. It was annoying af, but on paper my dealership has "fixed" the issue.
I chatted with customer...
Also, OP, make sure you keep following up with the dealership verifying your selections etc.
I think I'm in the minority, but I was a day 1 reservation, converted in July. Communicated and confirmed EXACTLY what I wanted on 2 different Build sheets, only for them to first "accidentally" change...
