Don't know what to believe at this point...
My ideal choice would be the 2.3 with the manual. Not sure if that will be an option with the Sasquatch.
The 2.3 is a derivative of the Duratec which is an ~800hp capable engine.
The only part that's 'fragile' is the the bottom of the cylinder where the liner connects to the block. The water jacket is pretty thin there, but correctly done, it is still able to produce a LOT of power.
The block issue was on the Mustangs only, I haven't heard of that issue on the RS.
It's...
I reserved mine a 4dr base. I will be adding Sasquatch for sure and depending on tow capacities, curb weights and transmission ratios, it will most likely be the 2.3 manual.
If there are significant changes in gear ratios and towing, I will change to 2.7.
Don't discount this 4 banger for a second...
Much more aftermarket available for this engine.

If the towing is the same and once I figure out the gear ratios and curb...
I'm pretty sure I'm reaching here but.....
The tow rating says 3500
But, it doesnt say 3500lbs
And, the Australian site show the Ranger towing to be 3500 across the board.
But they mean kilograms...
Is it possible?
All these pictures are renders anyways, so we’ll have to see.
the B6 might be the first vehicle in the universe thst has a rubber interior as an UPCHARGE!???
Thats not always the case...I mean look at a semi truck...
I need to get some specs nailed down and such, but I would not hesitate to tow 5-6000 pounds with that thing provided:
a) trailer had brakes with a proper brake controller
b) I had air bags for the rear to level it properly
