Hey team,
I put my web order in and my dealer has accepted my order. I've seen the order preview and it looks good. I even have priority code lucky 13, which I'm told is a good thing.
Buuuut, when I log into the web site, the progress page makes me feel like I'm missing a step before I can...
lol I agree. Fortunately my sales person made it sound like dropping a rack on a stack like ours (badlands 4dr 2.7 squatch here) is absolutely no big deal and I can handle it through the local accessories department.
My build isn't for a few months but I'd love to get some more info. Looking forward to what the team has lined up for fog lamps on the modular bumper too.
Heh, well, it's more of a sneaky way to say something more derogatory, but I won't repeat it in public because as far as I can tell they meant no foul play and I don't want to impugn them if they're playing fair. They offered to put the MSRP in writing so I'll be happy with that once the...
That is perfect, thank you!
I agree we're probably pretty safe from attack. The thieves usually get under your car with a saws all and hack the cat out. Looks to me like if you tried that on a Bronco, you would risk taking your own hand off in the process.
Hey team,
If someone has a moment, can they point out to me exactly where under the 21+ bronco the catalytic converter is? Trying to see if it's covered by the "full body bash plate", or if it's otherwise rendered hard to access, and laying eyes on it might help me figure out whether I should...
*scratching head* Maybe you should refresh your page. There've been a few things since I wrote that. In fact... didn't I just reply to you once already with updated info?
So I just talked to my sales person at Earnhardt and they're telling me there is NO dealer markup on my order, and they're totally willing to put that in writing.
So... IDK what the Ford order page is saying. I'm willing to wait though. I've done business with Earnhardt before, and they did...
The $500 order deposit seems like a normal Ford thing. I don't remember what the docs fee was. The "Additional Dealer Markup" on my order says it's just over $4000. I'm still not really sure what to make of that, it's something that I'll be bringing up with the sales and finance staff when...
The $500 is the order deposit. A surprise because for some reason I didn't expect it, because there was already a $100 reservation deposit, but also understandable, that's a pretty standard deposit to order a car from Ford.
The just over $4000 is listed as a line item described as "Difference...
Probably too late to point this out, but it would have been interesting to track reservation date as well, to show statistically how much effect reservation date has on the process.
MGV. One of the key features of the Badlands model is the washout floors, so it seems counterproductive to get leather seats. MGV is basically waterproof so I won't have to worry about special care.
That's my thinking anyway.
Today I put in my order. Reservation date late July 2020.
The $500 order fee was unexpected, as was the just over $4000 "dealer price", but I'm rolling with it. I'm happy to have it submitted. Now I can stop worrying about whether to get orange or blue, or whether I really need sasquatch...
A little weird it specifies roof rails not available with 2.7L on the Badlands, but it's OK on the Wildtrack with the 2.7. Guess I'll have to buy my rack aftermarket.
Well I might be inclined to move dealership but granger is a loooooong way from home. Mostly I am afraid if I order I'll get fast tracked and that might be awkward for me.
