  1. Dealer won’t sign purchase agreement

If it isn’t signed by both parties, it is not binding. Whether they will honor the price quoted or not, I don’t know - but if you don’t have a copy with their signed acceptance of offer, you have no leg to stand on should you need to contest anything down the road.
  2. Cost of Production continue to Rise. Automakers will be forced to Respond.

Given Ford’s track record on keeping promises, coupled with how dire the situation is
draw your own conclusions. In the end, MSRP is just that / Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. There are a lot of charges that get piled on top of MSRP when it comes to sale price, not all of them from the...
  3. Cost of Production continue to Rise. Automakers will be forced to Respond.

I am involved in the production and sales of Industrial Equipment. That is in fact what I have been doing for 22 years now. 2021 has been a roller coaster like no other: with prices of steel and copper and aluminum and freight and electronics jumping in price monthly. This is absolutely...
  4. Prediction: I'm calling it right now, Ford will have to cancel my VIN and push me to a 22.

    You are absolutely right
. And I will one up you: I don’t think their thicker plastic layer and rolled seams are going to fix their hard top problems. Not the rattles and not the wear and not the shedding headliner. They have an engineering problem. They were so stuck on fixing a “Jeep...
  5. Ford Canada Holding Pricing? Only if you have cash in hand.

Just an update of sorts; my new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was delivered tonight by the dealer! They drove it three hours to my house (that’s one way), no charge! Filled ‘er up and got me everything I need to get out there. It has been an Awesome experience, and I can’t recommend the dealer...
  6. The Word is Out. YAA video lands on Ford’s Bronco rollout

Well, we certainly know there are more than “cosmetic issues” with the hard tops. Cosmetics don’t cause squeaks, rattles, holes, wear to the seals and shedding headliners.
  7. Has any Canadian recieved swag?

Nope. Ford of Canada doesn’t offer anything; although a dealer in Canada might independently.
  8. The Word is Out. YAA video lands on Ford’s Bronco rollout

By all the published metrics, Ford was “hit worst” by the semiconductor chip shortage. I put “hit worst” in quotation marks because this wording implies there is a random factor involved here in exactly how each automaker has had their production impacted
. But all automakers around the world...
  9. The Word is Out. YAA video lands on Ford’s Bronco rollout

Ford owns this. There is a rumour that Ford demanded cost cutting be done on their roof design. Per said rumour Webasto was told to take 30% of the plastics out of the build, against their advice. Cost cutting screws the customer; you always get what you pay for.
  10. Final Update: Boys, I might have to do it. Talk me off the cliff. Final Choice is clear

That was a screaming deal! Good for you man! Rubicon, diesel, sky top roof and Sarge Green? No way you could have said no! 👍👍
  11. The Word is Out. YAA video lands on Ford’s Bronco rollout

I hear you on that. I actually asked my salesman if he could find me a used Wrangler or work with a Jeep dealer so he could still get a sale. He was extremely discouraged with Ford, and he has been in sales there for many years
and is waiting on his own Badlands.
  12. The Word is Out. YAA video lands on Ford’s Bronco rollout

I work in Sales myself, and making a sale requires a relationship built on integrity and trust. Bottom line, a person who doesn’t trust you will NOT give you their hard earned money. The impacts of this roll out failure can impact every model under the Blue Oval. Is FoMoCo listening?
  13. MIC top installed incorrectly by factory (front bracket mounted on top screw rather than through it)

I heard Ford announced buyouts for senior production staff, aiming for more of their infamous “cost cutting”. You would think they’d have slaked their thirst for that by now, given the CF this “roll out” has been to date.
  14. My husband @elmystico is now riding with Albert too....

I am very sorry to hear it. May his memory be a blessing!
  15. MY22 changes?

Sorry, this was a prediction at the time (based on the MIC issues). I didn’t follow MY22 updates yesterday, all I know is there are a couple of new colors (another red and a green).
  16. Dealer: Build Date between August 2022 - August 2023 CLOSED THREAD

Yep. And 👆 isn’t at all an emotional response. Best of luck with your Bronco.
  17. Dealer: Build Date between August 2022 - August 2023 CLOSED THREAD

I cancelled my order this week and was promptly refunded my deposit. I received my VIN in April and was delayed 5x already from June to July to August to September to “f#%€in as soon as we feel like it”. Honestly, as emotionally invested as I was in the Bronco, I checked Jeep dealers...
  18. Canada - Alberta Trim stickers are lame. Wheel in Class.

Having had my build delayed 5x, and without any particular end to delays in sight, I went ahead and bought a 2021 Wrangler JL Islander. Consequently I have up for grabs some gorgeous steel custom-made chrome and enamel finished “55th Anniversary Edition” Bronco badges. If you are one of the...
  19. EXPECT FURTHER DELAYS - More auto semiconductor chip problems

My advice to all, for what it is worth: with the shortages, prices are only going up - as are finance rates. If you need a vehicle or a price, buy now. Don’t wait.
