  1. Anyone try painting their wheels bead lock rings?

Ohhhhh didnt consider powdercoating... Did you have to drop them off or is that process quick enough where you can just wait through it?
  2. Anyone try painting their wheels bead lock rings?

Fords are $700 for a set, aftermarket anywhere from $300-$400. Bottle of spray-paint and clear coat, $30.
  3. Our Dangerous "Advanced" Bronco Wipers

I had my wiper motor replaced less than a month after purchase which didnt resolve the issue, so unfortunately I'm just living with it until there's a recall of sorts some day. Once the continuous goes to intermittent (after 60 seconds for mine), I just switch to a different mode and back...
  4. IAG EZ-Steps V1 vs V2, Opinions?

Any opinion between the two, from those who purchased? V2 seems to be the most popular, with the step sitting lower on the rock rail. I just didnt see any prior threads about these so figured id ask. *Disregard, found other thread and cant figure out how to delete this one 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  5. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Still wish I went with the orange mudflaps.
  6. I need mud flaps, whats everyone using?

Does anyone know if the Rokblokz work ok with the OEM rock rails? I swear I saw they did.
  7. Possible Big Bend Lemon? - Engine Wiring Harness replacement

Yeah thats super frustrating. Luckily the dealership I bought it from was nice enough about it and helped me out a bit with warranties and such... But I havent heard back from my Ford rep in weeks now. I did open a case with a lemon law attorney but probably wont hear from them until early...
  8. Possible Big Bend Lemon? - Engine Wiring Harness replacement

Apparently the dealership found faults in APP 2, pin fit issues on connector C203 for circuit C2040... Replacing the entire engine wiring harness. Another 7 days out, which easily hits the 30 day total mark.
  9. Possible Big Bend Lemon? - Engine Wiring Harness replacement

Yeah I've been looking into it and the 30 days thing is what I may push for. Ive had it for 32ish days and its currently been in the shop for 26 of them. Four more and I can file under PA law I'm pretty sure. Not that I want to... but...
  10. Possible Big Bend Lemon? - Engine Wiring Harness replacement

I started the buyback process but Ford said it has to hit lemon law for the state first. My concern with a buyback is two fold; 1) Im now out a vehicle, and 2) will they pay back the amount I paid over MSRP for it and cover the loan interest. We'll see how the next week goes I guess, more...
  11. Possible Big Bend Lemon? - Engine Wiring Harness replacement

Whats even worse is I was considering a Tacoma before picking this up, as they still make manuals. Ive owned two Subaru Crosstreks over the last five years and never once had it in the shop other than for scheduled maintenance. I know one-offs always exist... but boy is this frustrating with...
  12. Possible Big Bend Lemon? - Engine Wiring Harness replacement

More a venting session than anything else here... Got my two door manual big bend sasq at the end of February. After 200 miles had a powertrain failure (and other various 'assist' failures). Took it in for repair and the dealership replaced the battery. One week later, same powertrain...
  13. Wiper control speed issues URGENT SAFETY

My dealership verified the issue with mine and although theres a Ford bulletin about it, mine were so bad they ordered me a new wiper motor. Will update if it ends up working.
  14. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power 2023 Bronco repair vs returning to dealer?

Before they 'concluded' they needed to replace the assembly, they called me and said they found a loose accelerator cable which they thought was the original issue. Perhaps part of your issue, I remember seeing in other threads its a thing.
  15. Wiper control speed issues URGENT SAFETY

My 23 Bronco is in the shop for the Powertrain Malfunction which is going around, but I also mentioned this wiper issue to them. They were able to duplicate it but claim its unsafe to drive since the wipers stop after a minute. They apparently reached out to Ford. This along with the...
  16. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power 2023 Bronco repair vs returning to dealer?

Update: they found my "accelerator pedal assembly" needs replaced, which is on backorder with no ETA. Also they duplicated my wiper issue but say its unsafe to drive in its current condition since they stop working after a minute.
  17. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power 2023 Bronco repair vs returning to dealer?

I have a one week old Bronco Big Bend, manual transmission with Sasq that I'm about to have in a shop for the second time already. These same errors came up last week and the dealership replaced the battery, saying proper voltage wasn't getting to the subsystems. Just happened to me again...
  18. GOAT Rock Sliders vs. Extreme Terrain Barricade HD

May be a silly question here... but for the price difference... are the Extreme Terrains worth it? Once they're in stock of course. https://goatfabrication.com/collections/2-door-bronco/products/goat-bronco-2-door-rock-sliders...
