Buried in the dozens of pages about the infamous Ford change-your-order-or-else email/ announcement was some discussion about Ford providing all of the allocation modeling for the balance of '23 to the dealers. I apologize that I can't find the original poster to give credit but I can confirm...
Specialty scheduling only this week- this makes it 6 weeks since Ford scheduled anything that wasn't considered specialty... One way to make sure no one gets a WT with constrained parts- don't schedule any... Thanks @Ford.
"Ford Bronco dealer stock continues to turn in just 10 days – a rate that’s stayed pretty much the same for a few months now – but 85 percent of its retail sales in November came from previously-placed orders. That last number is interesting because in September, 99 percent of all new Bronco...
Anyone else find it interesting that the status of commodities, allocation, supply chain, etc of every other Ford model- even the ones that are in high demand- are all well known while no one seems to know anything about Broncos?
Even the dealers who ignore Ford’s rumored threats about sharing...
Tim Bartz (@FordVideoGuy) said - no Bronco scheduling this week…
Also- he talked about what options Ford may be removing due to constraints. Subwoofer on the base stereo and heated mirrors were two examples. It wasn’t clear if those are officially removed or if they “might” be removed...
Post up if/when you get that elusive email. For those of us who don’t get scheduled- at least we can see what trims are getting scheduled. If you can include order date- even better.
Interested from the dealership sect on the forums... Approximately, how many of your reservations/ orders ended up getting cancelled on Nov 22nd? My dealer said (yes, I know...) "a few" which was both non-specific and unhelpful. From the peanut gallery (non-dealers), have you heard anything from...
Update: scheduling emails now coming in as of 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern!
Supposedly, scheduling is happening today. Would love to see who gets their build scheduled to get a sense of planned production volume and through which weeks.
According to Long McArthur's YouTube channel last night, Bronco's are scheduling through 12/19 tomorrow. Take with a grain of salt. 18:10 if you don't want to watch the whole vid.
Strap in as there will be a bunch of “my dealer said” in this but I’ve found my dealer to be less likely to “guess” or be outright wrong so far.
First- they are saying they don’t have official word from Ford on price protection. While I’ve seen Ford employees post on Bronco Nation about what...
Seems we used to get inside info on what the current constraints were and now it’s just whole categories like “Wildtrak” or “Sasquatch” or “Lux.”
Anyone have inside info on what specific items are constrained? Trying to decide if I roll the dice and add tow back in for my 23 rollover.
Why Ford will have to eat an extra $1B in supplier costs this quarter
"Ford also disclosed that supply shortages have caused a backlog of thousands of assembled, yet incomplete vehicles. Ford anticipates between 40,000 to 45,000 unfinished vehicles — most of which are high-margin trucks and...
Got into a back and forth with my dealer about Wildtraks being less available for builds than Badlands. Anecdotally, I do see a lot of long waits for people with Wildtraks and Badlands but what would be holding up WTs over BLs? Assuming the same constraints, there doesn’t seem to be anything...
