Your build looks great! I think a set of white retro looking wheels would be bad ass.
Would you mind sharing exactly what lug nuts you ordered and are you happy with the Blue match to the Lightning Blue? Did you have to buy 2 complete sets of the Project Kics to get enough for the spare too?
My salesman @Gloff on this forum submitted mine while I was buying the Bronco. I had 220k that day, but the final 42k took a month or so. I even called Ford to check on the remaining points and they said it was still within the processing time. Took another week or more after their deadline...
You get the points after you buy the vehicle....some take 2-4 weeks to get in my experience. The exact number of points depend on your order situation. If you download the Ford Pass app, then you can monitor your points in the app.
It's definitely not the cheapest way to do it, but you could get the exact same set-up I listed here, then add a couple single tray add ons from 1up. You could then decide if you mount 2, 3 or 4 trays depending on how many people are biking.
I just reread your question and realize you were asking about a pin in the extender....yes, it fits with this 1up rack. I was just too lazy to install it for the photo.
I used this hitch extender:

and it comes with the lock. The pin also threads in to minimize movement. I'll probably throw a cable lock around the bike, through the rack and to the Ford hitch when in transit.
I haven't seen this exact combo posted so I figured I would share since it's pretty slick. This is a 1up hitch extender mounted in the deeper of the two hole options. The end of the extender doesn't stick out past the 35" tire. I inserted the 1up 2" super duty rack so there are a few mm of...
I saw that and might go that route. Pros and cons either way. I like the drivers side for lack of interference with the gate, but the downside is it blocks the license plate and parking spaces on either side would need to be open to swing each more than 90 degrees. I still may get the drivers...
It seems the Kuat Pivot V2 passenger is sold out everywhere. Please send me a PM if you know of anyone that has it in stock. I would like to pair this with my 1up rack. Thanks!
There's always Hollister, but I would prefer to stick to the trails that aren't likely to cause any damage.....I want to get out and explore, but not do anything too hardcore
@Boston182 I have that book and it seems worthwhile for a Bronco owner. Unfortunately there aren't a ton of trails in the Bay Area, but there are a lot in CA.
The frame design with lack of holes, lots of electrical etc makes it harder to design....that combined with price of materials, labor shortage, and many other products in the pipeline and this product seems slower to market. I'm sure we'll see some in the coming months though.
