I did the math on our 8,300sqft of driveway to top coat with different gravel, tires are cheaper. I don't even want to know what paving would cost, materials and contractor prices are out of control where I live.
How are they with gravel? I watched/read reviews they do fling gravel, but no...
I’ve already lived the experience of SAS tires with my ‘21. Please see my previous post of pics of the amount of gravel collected from one pass on my driveway with SAS tires. Mud flaps are not a fix. Rocks flying from the tires would hit my windshield and hood from the SAS tires pulling onto...
Robin's Egg Blue 2-Door Heritage Limited is what my wife wanted, this isn't Facebook, stay on topic. Not your money is right.
Edit: I have Baja Boss ATs 35x12.5x17 Load Range D's in the garage, they exist.
Seems they're phasing out some SKUs, but there still should be a good 35x12.5 sku, the top one below looks good, the 3rd one is phased out. Only difference I can see the the top one is lighter. I love my Baja ATs!
I have posted a few times before about SAS tires and my driveway, I got my Bronco Nov '21, this is why I want new tires before her Bronco gets trashed from our driveway.
I had skipped this tire since it was load range E, I saw the X-AT in the lower load range.
How's the ride? What PSI do you run them at?
Edit: How are they with gravel?
I have 37" MT Baja ATs on my Bronco, 35 Baja ATs in the garage that are going on the Jeep. Those would be a waste on my wife's new Bronco that'll never off road. I liked the 35's so much I got the same in 37 after all my suspension/steering/axle upgrades.
D is fine, those are aggressive...
Not sure I can wait till 2026.

I've researched/searched at nauseum, tires this size for the use case are annoying me. I have to decide on something this week.
My wife's HLE arrives this weekend, the SAS tires do not jive with our gravel driveway, that is the only reason I'm replacing them ASAP. I don't want higher than a...
Our quality hold on a 24 2-door HLE lasted ~4 weeks. Of course right after I got annoyed it shipped. Now sitting in the rail yard for the dealer to pick it up!
I have the same crimper. After looking at the website that had all the crimping info, certainly not as fancy of a crimp pattern. But, it works well on my 1/0 on down wires.
Right or wrong I dunno, but this is all the wiring I used earlier this summer when I swapped out wiring. I tried to buy...
That fuse block failed you bad, well, I think that's what I'm looking at in the pics!? Pull the wire run, see what you can see.
Yeah, I'd run a negative to the battery for that much power. The google say 100amps max for a chassis ground. Car audio needs perfect ground, so I do that out of...
I don't think the wire gauge is the issue, but here's my thought. Chances are the amp kit used CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum), usually you have to upside the CCA to get your needed end voltage, otherwise it will pull more amps to make up the difference. A 10% voltage drop on a CCA 16-20' run...
What is the amp wiring kit you used? How long of a run from the 100a fuse to the 8ga/fuse connections to the arb?
Did you ground the arb to the chassis or direct to the battery?
I’m suspect on the amp kit, the cheap Amazon kits have reports of fuses not blowing or blocks melting. It’s a...
