I can't think of a brand I'm interested in that "heritage" is a selling point. Take Harley their "Heritage" is a major turn off for anyone below the age of 50.
I don't think a white soft top would be a good idea. Miata's with light tan tops always look horribly dirty, even if the rest of the car looks good, white would be even worse. .
I don't see the point. It is too easy to shop around and handle negotiations over email and other than warranty work why would I go back there? I look at dealers as unneeded middlemen and I would much rather have Tesla (or European) model where that's the price, no negotiations, no "added...
I don't understand this mentality. Why be loyal to a car dealership? I've driven 2 hours out of my way for a lower price that I negotiated over email between several different dealers. Besides warranty work why go back to them since they are more expensive than a regular repair shop?
Not yet. I have not preordered anything, I'm thinking I'm going to wait until late 2021 or 2022 before I buy. I do know when I was looking at Focus ST's they didn't have the best price and they didn't want to negotiate over email.
That makes sense, I guess because I bought a car right across the border in Maryland they just collected that tax and sent it off for me, they also did the registration for me as well.
You pay the sales tax for the state you register the car and they handled the Virginia registration for me. I did have to get a VA state inspection on my own. In it really was no different than any other car buying experience I've ever had.
I hate dealers, they will not service my vehicles...
I live near Fredericksburg. I will not be using a Virginia dealer because of the ridiculous dealer fees. I think most dealers charge over $700.00 while in Maryland they are capped at $300.00.
We got rid of ours at 160,000 because my sister in law was down on her luck and needed a new(er) vehicle. My wife and I took at look and decided that we could live without a "family" car until this all calms down and sold it to her at trade in value.
This might be applicable for some of you, but Ford does offer a $500.00 credit for college/trade students and recent graduates.

I'm 39 and I'm working on my bachelors, so I will be taking advantage of this.
I've owned two 2.0 and a 3.5 liter Ecoboost. I put 85,000 miles on my 2013 Focus ST before I had to trade it in after discovering it didn't fit two rear facing car seats very well. I traded it in on a Lincoln MKT with the 3.5, when I sold it to my SIL (who still has it) it had 155,000 miles on...
