I Have an active recall for ACCESSORY PROTOCOL INTERFACE MODULE SOFTWARE UPDATE.... dealer had 2 days said you can come get your bronco the fix ford told us to do wont work.. My last update was, well, never gotten one!
Took mine to dealer this morning for Recall replacement... Thought it was odd service manager went out and took a picture of rock chip in a pillar.... guess they know whats coming......
I have owned 2 of those kicker powered amps. Neither lasted more than a year... They overheat and melt circuits... Had better luck with Cerwin Vega powered sub
I have an open recall for Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) will not update ota. Took to dealer had for 2 days to find out there is a service bulletin that the "fix" from dealer does not work!
Engineers are working on a fix... hopefully when i take in on the 20th for windshield recall...
API Module won't update recall.
Seriously? I am without a car for 2 days and the dealer says... "we contacted Ford directly and they said a fix of the fix should be available soon......
Supposed to take back on 20th (2-3 day repair) windshield recall.
Anyone know how to get ahold of Ford...
