Now that's clever. I was pondering the rear seat removal and a platform for the dog. Having a hinge still provides access to the compartments in the floor. Thanks for the idea.
One would not be incorrect for calling me a bit slow. I realized today that those fender trail sights are a lot like gun sights. I thought they looked familiar, and then it dawned on me.
I installed the Dee Zee components today. I got them on Amazon using a gift card, so essentially free. I doubt I'll paint them to body color. The way they come is almost identical in color to the grille and flares. I much prefer the hood and fender lines without the trail sights. I had a '75...
I also installed the Rally Armor mud flaps. Great protection. Very good quality components. The Bronco already has chips in the paint on the doors from flying stones. I also tow a small enclosed trailer. The trailer was getting covered in road grime from the rear tires before the mud flaps.
It only takes a little trimming of the plastic covers. Easy peasy when you see it. You don't have to over think it. Pretty simple when you get down to it.
@AARDVARK122 - are you still happy with the +30 offset? Did the wheels change the feeling or handling of the Bronco?
Also...are the wheels you got the OEM style from Wheel Smith?
Thanks.
