  1. Fox 2.5 DSC Heavy Spring Advice

Gigahorse might have something to say about that! I generally agree but I mostly just care about what is going to perform on the trail. Trophy trucks are usually higher in the front

  3. Fox 2.5 DSC Heavy Spring Advice

Very eye opening. For years I have trusted Fox. Looks like they slept on this one. When you pay a premium the expectation is a tested priduct. Having to swap springs once is a major PIA. Two swaps?, pffft!
  4. Fox 2.5 DSC Heavy Spring Advice

This is why I love this forum! Appears we have a very similar setup. Had I know about the Fox factory springs I would have waited. After sweating all day I made my peace on this project by taking the hard top off. Now I’m sitting .25” tail high and ready to charge!
  5. Fox 2.5 DSC Heavy Spring Advice

A short while back I installed some Fox DSC 2.5's. After a long road trip through UT & CO last month it was apparent I was under-sprung, particularly in the rear. I called a popular suspension co. that offers a tuned version of these shocks and asked them about a heavier coils. They started...

  7. Severe Duty Rack for Non Sas Badlands

Anyone aware of the status on support for the SD rack for non-sas? I could have sworn I saw a post by Ford saying they were working on it but can't find it anymore. I am aware that a few dealers out there are able to program but I don't have that kind of confidence in my local shops (Sacto)...

  13. Plug n Play Musway Install

@BigP'sGreenMachine Talked to Joseph at Musway. Very helpful. He sent me a pic of his recommended settings and that greatly improved the sound (see below). Still far from perfect but I am at a point where I am happy with the sound. Way better than stock. But that's to be expected for over $1700...
  14. Brand New Hitch - Gone

@jon The fit and finish is pretty nice on the Curt. Other than that nothing special. Made in the USA 👍
  15. Plug n Play Musway Install

@German88 Sincerely appreciate the help. I've spent a considerable amount of time reading through all the Musway literature and hours of trial and error. Perhaps you or someone with some more knowledge can critique my setup. Below is a description of my noob logic and how I got to where I am...
  16. Plug n Play Musway Install

As a trouble-shooting measure, I swapped outputs 1/2 & 3/4, so the 3/4 Band Pass is for the dash and panel speakers.
  17. Plug n Play Musway Install

Just to catch you up, the photo was posted at the request of the "professional" that sold me the kit, Joe @plugnplaykits. Do you know of any good online learning resources I can study while I wait for a response? I've been watching CarAudioFabrication.
