My dealer listened to my Broncos this morning and verified the issue. They said they have a good transmission guy that does these repairs and that he has done a couple so far. It'll take a couple weeks to get all the parts, and I'll be away for 3 weeks in February. So, I have an appt for Feb...
Ugh. Yeah....there are good dealerships and bad ones. My dealership is pretty good. They seem to do pretty good work and the tech said they have had a few in for the transmission noise. He seemed familiar with the issue. Good news is that you can take your Bronco to any Ford dealership for...
I have the premium care. I'm thinking, if I can get them to document the issue at this point, then I'd be able to get it fixed any time over the next 5 1/2 years I have remaining on my premium care warranty.
Hmmm...I have a 2023 2 door Heritage Edition, manual. 8k miles. Built in June of 2023, although it didn't show up at the dealership until end of August. I'm getting the noise. Only happens on cold mornings at startup. Goes away if I push in the clutch or push the gear shift down towards 6th...
Bringing my 2023 Heritage Edition in on Monday. It'll sit outside all night and they will try to replicate the grinding sound Tuesday morning. I get the noise when it's cold, first thing in the morning. Goes away if I push in the clutch or push the gear shift towards 6th gear. Noise goes away...
Yeah, no one is going to swap. I have seen some top that people have had painted white. If you get a good body shop, they can probably take care of that for you. Might not be cheap though. Or, perhaps, a wrap might be a better idea.
The thing that makes the Heritage edition is the white top, grill, wheels and dash, to mimic the original "66." I suppose nothing is impossible but removing the white top from a Heritage edition would be akin to swapping out the engine in a Raptor and replacing it with the 2.3. Wouldn't be a...
OMG....I had a 2019 Miata club with the recaro/brembo package in soul red crystal. Dollar for dollar, the most fun vehicle I've ever owned. Those who scoff at them, haven't driven one. But....one day on our way to Cape Cod, we got hit by a massive construction dump truck, thrown into a spin...
Yeah, I've taken my top off a bunch of times too. I have the two door, and there are no leaks around the front two panels or the gunner's hatch. It was all coming from the top of the rear window on the passenger side. Got home from work a little while ago, put it in the garage and removed the...
Big rain storm here today in the northeast. Heavy rain and strong winds. I got my first top leak today. A decent amount of water is dripping from the top of the passenger side removable rear window. I'm at work so nothing I can do right now. When I get home I'll lay a towel down and tomorrow...
I do! Got my Bronco in 2023. My original order was back in 2021. Never got built so I switched to a Heritage Edition order in late 2022. Just added the Wrangler. My Bronco even got me an additional $2k off of the Wrangler with the Ford Conquest rebate. $10k total off MSRP on the Wrangler.
Very true. During a snow storm, I would estimate that 90% of the vehicles I see off the road in the ditch are AWD or 4WD vehicles. I'll see a truck flying by me at 70mph in heavy snow. Every vehicle has four wheel braking. That truck may have gotten going a little easier but it's not stopping...
Ironically, my Bronco got me an addition $2000 off the Jeep with the Ford Conquest rebate. I got $10k off MSRP between a tread lightly membership and various rebates. Couldn't resist the red, white and blue. God Bless America!
