I think he charged me around $130. I didn't want to attempt it myself. Unless you have experience applying vinyl, I'd let a professional do it. I was afraid of messing it up. Yes, it's race red. I got one of the first orders in, in Sept of 2022, when they opened up the first Heritage orders. You...
I don't think anyone does. Besides, you'll want to replace the entire thing. Anything you buy is going to be a lot higher quality that what Ford puts on there. I have a 2023 Heritage 2 door and I hated the vinyl script. I bought the Heritage spear set from Underground graphics and had a local...
Guess what? Got out of the Bronco tonight and smelled the burning smell again. Seems to be strongest if I smell under the front driver's side fender. Did yours go away?
Do you wish you still had the Bronco? I got a 7 year extended warranty at a great price and so I'll just live with it and enjoy the vehicle. All I know is that Ford won't make any money off of me on this vehicle.
Well.....after a month or so....the noise has returned. The Bronco sat outside last night and it wasn't terribly cold but did get down to the low 40's. I haven't noticed any noise over the last month but did hear it this morning. It was faint, but it's there. I imagine, had it been very cold, it...
I think you've most likely got some type of leak somewhere. Mine had a pretty strong burning smell after picking it up. But whatever was burning, burned off and the smell went away after driving a couple hundred miles.
I'll let you know. I didn't notice it this morning but I didn't drive too far. I'll keep an eye on it. I'm sure they used different cleaners and lubricants during the process. My receipt lists brake fluid, brake cleaner, engine shampoo and silicone lubricants. I'm sure they spilled a little...
Ugh. That sucks. I just got my Heritage back from a 33 day stint at the dealership. They had to replace the 5th and 6th gear synchros in my manual transmission. There's a TSB for the grinding noise. Supposedly, a bunch of bolts snapped off when they were trying to remove the drive shaft and had...
Really? I guess they can make shit up to me as I'm not a tech and wouldn't know but doesn't Ford look at these things? Here's a pic of what the work order says. It sat on the lot for a couple of weeks, was up on the lift for 3 days then was back out in the lot for another week and then up on the...
Ok, just got my Bronco back after having the TSB done. 33 days in total at the dealership. Work order states that, during removal of the transmission, four of the driveshaft bolts snapped and the tech had to drill out the bolts. It also stated that the 5/6 synchro rings were seized to the shaft...
Well, I think the issue is that, in the past, no one really expected Ford quality to equal Lexus. But you accepted that because buying a Ford was a lot cheaper than buying a Lexus. That isn't the case anymore. Order a loaded up Badlands and you're into Lexus GX550 territory. And the quality...
Just pressed the dealer for an answer. All they would say is that the tech had to order more parts during the repair process. My Bronco has been sitting on the lot waiting for these additional parts. Can I assume he broke something while attempting to perform the TSB?
Oh man, sounds like a nightmare. Is it finally all sorted out? My dealership had mine up on the lift for a few days but now it's sitting back in the lot and I'm having trouble getting an answer.
