I think you've most likely got some type of leak somewhere. Mine had a pretty strong burning smell after picking it up. But whatever was burning, burned off and the smell went away after driving a couple hundred miles.

The burning smell seems to have dissipated. Everything seems fine. No grinding noise from the trans, and everything is shifting smoothly.

Just pressed the dealer for an answer. All they would say is that the tech had to order more parts during the repair process. My Bronco has been sitting on the lot waiting for these additional parts. Can I assume he broke something while attempting to perform the TSB?

Oh man, sounds like a nightmare. Is it finally all sorted out? My dealership had mine up on the lift for a few days but now it's sitting back in the lot and I'm having trouble getting an answer.
