I see by default, the plate is perpendicular to the ground. Any reason the plate cannot be bent back to be a little more flush with the bumper? Like what would happen if I were to drive forward into a rock. I'm just thinking how to keep from 'snagging' the plate on things...

When looking for adaptors, what should I be Googling? For example, I use hvac vent mounted air fresheners... It would be neat to move it to a nice tidy place on the rail as I think they are king of an eyesore clipped to the AC vent.

Can you snap a quick picture of this 'button'? I didn't see it when I sat in the Bronco at my local dealer. My Ram has physical buttons for the front/rear to make it easy to turn them on/off when I'm towing or they ice over in the winter.
