The painted hardtop is about 100lbs lighter. That’s why we are seeing all these problems with combining sound deadening and roof racks. If the top was lighter you could add them without exceeding GVWR. EDIT: Apparently I’m wrong and it’s just a bug in build and price.

A video I took today showing Area 51 paint in changing light going from under cover to bright sun. It really shows the blue gray range of this color.
