I’m hoping the 2.7 V6 EB with trailer package increases towing capacit. If you look at the site both engines say 3500 lbs across the board. I also noticed TBD mentioned in a lot of the towing capabilities with towing package.
Not sure on the 2 thing, didn’t try adding a 3rd to reserve.
I cancelled on the Ford site under my account, got a confirmation and the deposit is credited the same way you paid .
Ordered the Badlands, got confirmation number and email.
Cancelled the Wildtrack reservation and reserved a Badlands this morning after having more time to see the diffefence between both. The Wildtrack is more of a pre-runner Baja, while the Badlands is extreme off-roading. Plus the Badlands is more buildable from Ford with options and the 2.7...
MPT- More Power Tuning who tunes F150 Ecoboost, Raptors and Mustangs has reservations for a couple of Broncos. They have stated that the 2.7 V6 EB will make over 400 whp reliably once tuned and bolt ons. Thats more then enough for me.
Also go look at the technology Ford, put into that 2.7 V6...
MPT (More Power Tuning) is getting a few Broncos for the shop. So they will be supporting tuning in the platform. They said in a post that the 2.7 V6 EB will make over 400 whp tunes.
I was wondering if the site would actually say the FE was full or something good to know. Should mean everyone who ordered one will get it if they follow through.
Got a 2 door Wildtrack first with reservation number and email confirmation. #10121173
Then got a 2 door First Edition reserved immediately right after with reservation number, #10123126
Both show on my Ford account with different reservation numbers and money has been withdrawn for both.
So is the 3.5 ecoboost and the NA 3.7 V6 (which I wouldn't have mind having in the lighter versions of Bronco. Owning the 3.7 in a Mustang it is a highly dependable engine even fully modded tuned).
A 2.3 mustang owner recently has blown up two stock 2.3 EB motors with the Ford performance tune, installed by Ford. Ford has stood by him and replaced the engines, last I heard he was in engine three and nothing conclusive as to why they keep blowing up.
You keep your 2.3 EB, I’ll roll with...
I need reliable torque not whp in a 4x4. Torque is what kills engines, not horsepower.
I own a mustang, on forums and pages both. The 2.3 ecoboost engine is a weak design. I’ve seen multiple people post with pictures of holes in the side of the stock block. Some were fbo, tuned, some were just...
If the best engine available is a 2.3 cylinder ecoboost. I’ll pass. The 2.3 ecoboost is a weak block and I would have serious concerns about the abuse it could handle on a 4x4 model that sees constant off road use.
Unless Ford comeS out with a new generation version that addresses the weak block...
