I do find it odd that Ford service reps do not show you the oil level before they return the vehicle to you. When I had the ZR2, I got oil changes done ot the Chevy dealer. Last step before handing me the keys: was to pop the hood, pull and wipe dipstick, reinsert, and show me the oil level...

100% se the relays. You can then wire into a single switch. Power straight from battery across the relay, so you can use any of the AUX switches to trigger. Minimal current across the switch.
The animation on mine went away (replaced by the static logo) about 4 or 5 months ago. Prior to the update, the Sync system would freeze up randomly 2-3 times a month, requiring a reboot.
Since the update, I have had zero freezes. I'll take it.
If you like remote, go visit Big Bend Ranch State Park. Bigger than BBNP, fewer visitors. I've been there when my wife and I (and a couple rangers) were the only people in the park.
