No, it’s totally fine. It’s synthetic “leather”. The marine vinyl should be super easy. And if something needs extra, a little clorox spray cleaner you’re good (since it’s bleach on white).
The Lightning Blue is a great color. A bit darker and "bluer" than Velocity. And I think those lucky enough to get a FE spot should get an exclusive color. But, the rest of us can get Velocity and will be happy.
I agree. The ecoboost engines are quite tunable and forced aspiration is a big deal. The Jeep's normally aspirated engines are surprisingly susceptible to altitude (ironic for a vehicle used in the mountains). The Jeep's turbo 4cyl is the "upgraded" more expensive option and only comes in auto.
Ball joints. Maybe control arms, but the weight on those joints is a challenge. But that's true even with the 35's. I've cracked ball joints on the Jeep, but the Old Man Emu's are stout and haven't had any problems. That's just an example though - any upgraded joint probably would've worked. I...
First, here is my bias: I'm "all in" on the Bronco and I think Ford will do a really good job here. They are showing commitment and they are investing in relevant technology. I think FCA is loosing it's way with Jeep and are milking it as a cash cow.
Now that's out of the way...
I have driven...
It's funny - I've been on B6G a while, but haven't checked in here. CA native (born in San Diego, grew up in Sac and Santa Rosa, then 20 years back in San Diego and now in the Bay Area - so I'm all CA).
I'll be doing some crawling (which I do in my Jeep now) and want to get into Overlanding. 4...
I would give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they did do research. But looking at Jeep's manual numbers going down every year, including the "most capable" Rubicon variant, might cause you to believe there isn't demand (especially since they represent a large majority of the off road...
I honestly think Ford is still pretty driven by the dealer network, who gave them a huge pile of feedback about “out there” colors. Because of teal Probes and purple Rangers sitting on lot... back in the 90’s.
^ This. Totally this.
For a vehicle built to go off road, you don’t want things hanging any lower than needed. But if you must (my wife isn’t tall) and can’t do a power step - keep it a straight rail. Those hoops are just barbs to hang you up on rocks/obstacles.
I don't think those are the same vehicle. They have one version of the Cyber Orange 2d with the donut doors, method wheels and brown interior that has been a photo hero at a ton of events. Then they have the Cyber Orange 2d with the badlands setup that's been the video hero used in the promo...
