Minus the cop chase implying a brutal murder of two innocent people, and Ford may just take you up on it. BTW, the Bronco didn't die b/c of the OJ chase. It certainly didn't help but was not the ultimate reason. 2 door SUV sales were falling and Expedition took its place as it resembled the 97...
Agreed on Nissans. To the OP, make sure to do your research on Chevy's 3.6. Tons and tons of internal issues. I also thought of a used one for my mother in law. Scoured CL to find gobs of them in my area being sold as "mechanic's special". Most if not all had internal engine failure before 150k...
I love the 3rd door option. Not sure which way I swing just yet. If its close to the renderings, a 2 door all day. The 4 door just isn't "utilitarian" enough for me. Somehow Jeep was able to capture the essence of a Jeep in a 4door. The 6G renderings dont do that to me. I loved the FJ's 3rd...
I'm thinking more like 2021. As in late 2020 build dates but sold as 2021 models. I hope not, but I've read a few articles that seemed to be stuck on a 2021 model year.
I have to agree with the statement above. I own several FSB's but only my wheeler goes topless. I have an extra top for my wheeler that I took the windows out of and cut a hole in top to sort of mimic and hard-soft top look. I dont pop the tops on my other cruisers because one has been converted...
Ford won't keep the Bronco a 2 door. It doesn't make any sense. They're already limiting the market by offering a vehicle thats sole purpose is its off road prowess and heritage, they're not looking to shoot themselves in the foot anymore than they already are. 2 door SUV's have failed or have...
Dont daily drive any of my Bronco's but wish I could....96 crawler, 96 converted to King Ranch, and sold my 71 a few years ago. I'm a die-hard fullsize guy.
In addition to the above comments, Ford has purchased a large number of Aluminum manufacturing plants in order to fulfill their requirements but also to limit Chevrolet's. Ford has positioned itself to have a stranglehold on the aluminum for automobile manufacturing.
