I am. I'm having John move mine to the order bank. If it works, great, no harm in trying.
I placed my order this morning, I didn't get an email about it, but I'm still considering it a long shot to get a '21.
Hey JOhn,
I sent you an email several days ago and never heard back, looking for my place in line. I looked around and don't see a way to send a PM. How can I find out this information?
The closest I've come to VB was a '91 Eclipse I bought new. It was a new color, and when my Dad backed into it when it was only a few weeks old, the dealership could not locate any paint for it. I had to wait a month.
I know that, but when I read John's statement about reservations being prematurely put in the order queue, I think that my question is a legitimate one. Better to ask than to be surprised.
John, thanks for this information.
Question: I initially reserved a Base, but I've moved up to Outer Banks. Does this have a bearing on moving the reservation to the order queue? I do not want to be locked into that initial choice.
Thanks.
That's cool, it's nice color. I'm still on the fence of which way to go. It might dpend on how I feel if and when I get a call...
Besides, being a Fireman, what other way to go than red? ;)
Plus, it felt great to get in on the ground floor, so to speak and make a reservation on the first or second day. You felt that you were going to have something before they became a dime a dozen on the street.
Now, it will be into the second model year before most of us can even order one.
The...
As much as I would love to own a Bronco, if I get pushed to '22 and Ford ups the price, that is about as much shenanigans as I can take and would seriously consider moving on to something else.
Another color that would have looked nice, I think, is the Blue Metallic on my wife's 2018 Flex. It took us awhile to find one that wasn't black, white, or silver.
I think I read here that they are saying to order as soon as you can so they can get an idea of what to plan for. You can change your order details later.
Someone correct me if I'm not interpreting this correctly.
