The notices likely went out to only reservation holders and those with price protection certificates. Ford wants to flush these out of the system so they can make significant changes in the lineup and make more profit.
You have no recourse unless the dealer or Ford give you a credit to cover the extra cost of the auto. Basesquatch scheduling is done for the year and will probably be gone forever as Ford realigns the lineup. MTs are also done for the year too and if you want the MT/Squatch combo youâll pay...
I donât think you have a choice of either one, unless you find it on a dealers lot. Both are â unobtainiumâ. The Wildtrak is so oversubscribed that Ford is incentivizing customers to cancel their orders and switch to a new trim. I canât see them taking new orders for a long time. The Everglades...
I think youâre spot on with what Ford is looking at, fewer trims and more available option packages. Fordâs current offerings were put together when constraints werenât as big an issue and they rigged the B&P to force you to higher more expensive, profitable trims to get an option you wanted...
The basesquatch youâre looking at better already be built or scheduled with VIN. Basesquatch production for MY23 is âbalanced outâ and no more will be scheduled this model year. Itâs also very possible that Ford will drop squatch as an option on base and other lower trims in MY24.
@kodiakisland has a black diamond and has added a manual swaydisc to it. He has a nice build thread and gets as much out of a black diamond as anyone here.
EDIT. I stand corrected. I guess he manually disconnects it himself and zip ties it up.
By itself, iconic silver isnât much. With a wrap, its an amazing color. Your stealth wrap is one of my favorites. Iâve also seen some well done urban camo wraps.
I have the Twill and it looks great.
I would also agree itâs louder than the hardtop, especially in strong headwinds or side noise when passing trucks. If youâre a road warrior like @mpeugeot and drive 50K a year mostly highway, a soft top might not be a good fit. If youâre mostly driving...
Well done Noah, an excellent balanced review. As a 2 door owner the Trektop is the only game in town if youËre looking for a soft top. I love it, itâs a great product and it completely transforms the Bronco experience.
Your ride is beautiful and an instant classic! That said you have 6 unused AUX switches tempting you every time you drive and youâll eventually succumb to mod fever.
