Good analogy on the Line 6 Helix - I totally get it. I have an old Behringer modelling amp an, if nothing else, it's fun to play with the 100+ crazy sounds it can make. And if it were newer, it would be just like this Borla item: endlessly upgradable. What a hoot it will be for you to have it...
First post on this thread to mention enhancing exhaust so you can hear real engine sound. Okay, it's a 4 banger, but changing out the exhaust is what I did. That, and replacing the speakers, adding an amp and a sub helped too.
This is exactly what worked for me. I followed the above procedure - doing it 2 times up and 2 times down and holding it for only 2 seconds instead of 4+ - and getting it done in less than 30 seconds, and it fixed the issue.
I did it while my wife was driving the vehicle, just to try something...
This is pretty much what I have been doing, and tried it several times in a row. I was holding it up/down for longer, though, so I will give it another try with 2 seconds.
I like the idea of an update with the key fob because right now, the only way I have for keeping the driver's door glass...
I've read about this common issue and how to fix it, even watched 4 different YouTube videos with the same solution:
Hold the window down switch for 10 seconds, then hold the window up switch for 10 seconds to reset the window limits.
Details of my issue:
My 2 door '22 Bronco sat for over 2...
You mentioned something about the system being cat back - that's more like $1,500. All of their axle back system cost over 400 bucks. Not sure what you have there for $140. https://www.holley.com/products/exhaust/exhaust_systems/flowmaster/outlaw_series/parts/818120
And this is the one I have...
I've heard the same thing about recruiting nurses for nursing homes. Offering to pay for education, licensing, housing, etc.
You can't stay in business without employees.
A bit off topic, but a bunch of comments have been made about no loaner. I can't remember the last time I was offered a loaner when my car was in for any type of service or repair.
10 years with a Charger that had numerous recalls, I was never offered a loaner or a shuttle. I asked one time for...
I love having the 2 door, although everyone else in the family would prefer a 4 door.
I think the 2 door is truer to the original and that the 4 door looks mostly like any other SUV.
Besides, we already have a Flex for 4 door hauling duties.
The bonus of having the 2 door is it is least likely...
I don't know if this option has been mentioned (didn't read through the entire thread) but I picked up one of these units. It has an FM transmitter to connect to the Bronco's speakers. It is small enough to fit in the console or in the pockets on the doors. It will play upside down/sideways...
Congrats! Good to hear that you are finally all set.
For those that are waiting for a Price Protection Check, I highly recommend talking to Jeremy - that is the thing that really lights the fuse.
Did you drop Tow Package? There really is no other reason that you shouldn't have your Bronco by now. As I recall, your reservation date / time was very close to mine and I've had my Bronco for many months.
Your reservation time is just an hour after mine. I dropped tow quite awhile ago and my 2 door got build and delivered in June. If you want your Bronco sooner rather than later, you should drop tow.
Best of luck to you.
Sorry for the delayed reply - I didn't see this question.
Between the 3 checks, I think I ended up with around $1900 (2 door Outer Banks). I threw it in the bank, but will be spending some of it on front window tinting and doing something about the terrible stock speaker system, whose theme song...
