  3. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

Jimbo, look for an app for your phone called ā€œOnX Offroadā€. Its awesome! I’ll include a link to a video I found on YouTube on how to work the app. I’m planning on doing Hawkins and Pistol Peak trail this Monday, off of Burnside Lake trail. Direct message if you want to meet up and go. I’m...
  4. Bronco Base, 31.4 highway MPG!

Exactly! I drive super easy with my four legged friend in the back and get there when I get there. I wish I had that kind of mileage. I’m at 21 mpg

  6. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

I’m in Meyers on Iroquois Cir. Not a bad idea to setup a meet! I’m actually going to have to build a fence at the end of the driveway now and section off the end of my driveway, and a piece of my property. My dog learned he can leap off our second story deck and land 5 feet down on a hill and...
  7. OMG! Dropped my door reinstalling after removal! Damage photos

Sorry this happened!! That’s a great idea about the noodles for protection! I haven’t tried to remove the doors yet. I will be sure to cut some and tape them on before removing and putting them back on, just in case.
  8. Mabett Soft Top Window Storage Bag coming soon!

I love this product. I’m normally having to figure out where to leave them in my house or shed. It was so easy to use and hangs on the back seat. Definitely one of my favorite products. Oh and the back seat rear covers too! No more hair on the back of second row.
  9. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

No easy fix apparently. I took it to dealership today. I think they don’t want to try to fix it because they are not trained to do so. $4,000+ to replace, plus 4 hour install @ $155 an hour. Insurance claim coming! I’m thinking of taking the money and applying it towards advanced fiberglass...
  10. New to the forum. Here’s Newt w/ WWII inspired shark teeth graphic!

Welcome! I love that graphic, big warbirds fan and reminds me of the flying tigers P-40 Warhawk. Waiting for a good reliable tune also. šŸ‘
  11. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

If I wasn’t lazy, this would have never happened. These are the motion detectors I put up on my property that will alert me to any bears or people coming onto it. They are pretty much full proof if you don’t ignore them like I did. Once they go off, especially the driveway where my Bronco is, I...
  12. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

No don’t leave the doors open. Just saying because it’s luck if they don’t destroy and glovebox or console they aren’t familiar with. My 2013 Explorer I sold had claw and tooth puncture woun I second this! My 2013 Explorer was unlocked and it got puncture marks on the middle console the bear...
  13. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

Welcome to Tahoe! I was planning on removing the top with a special outdoor hoist starting late June and keeping it off for the summer. I still will. I just can’t ignore my motion alarms at night and be completely diligent about checking for bears when it doesn’t have a top. You are right about...
  14. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

Thanks! Rough country hidden winch for 2.3 engines only.
  15. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

My dog used to pee on ā€œHisā€ Bronco tires and mark it for the coyotes, but has slacked off. He hates them and bears, but always wants to try to play with bear cubs on our hikes and mountain bike adventures. He’s gonna get me killed. So far he’s treed a cub and chased another one into the woods...
  16. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

Watch out for those speed bumpsā€¦šŸ˜‚ JK. I’ll take a bear over an alligator that sneaks up on me. The bears here normally don’t care about people and run away from dogs. But not always!
  17. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

Unfortunately I missed a Kiwi that rolled onto the front floor board from my last trip. Once my sister left her Jeep unlocked with a nutrition bar and I found a bear in it at the top of the driveway early in the morning. I yelled at it and saw the Jeep move side to side. Instinctively they...
  18. Bear Opens Badlands Soft Top

Well, I thought this might happen! Living in Lake Tahoe without a garage I figured the snow, or a bear might damage the top. Last night the motion sensor at top of the driveway went off three different times. Each time I checked the camera I saw no bear next to my Bronco, only a bear walking out...
  19. Top Down/Open & Windows Up

    No issues either!
  20. Auto start/stop disabled but I didn’t do anything

I wish I could be so lucky! I guess I’m just happy I’m still not waiting for one.
