Credit? Not me...... The EB ('66-'77) was always a copy of the International Scout ('61-'71). I do agree that Ford did a great job with the "retro" look and I give them credit for bringing it back as a true 4-wheeler.
Everything was ugly in the late 70s and 80s.
I find it hilarious that people think the Bronco will launch and there won't be issues/recalls. With how much Ford has delayed and fumbled this launch, not to mention previous ones, I have zero confidence the Bronco's will be trouble-free.
In fact, it has already begun with the Sport...
The lack of green was a real disappointment for me. I wanted to like Cactus Grey, but in the end I settled on A51 bc I believe it works best with the MIC top. Unfortunately, I think that is going to be a real popular color. If a traditional black, body-match or even white top were available...
Cancelled both of my day 1 reservations yesterday, including a FE. The new Bronco will be an amazing vehicle and the competition will only benefit the consumer. With that said, Ford really dropped the ball on this launch. I felt forced into a trim and color package I wasn't totally happy with...
Really happy that I can now add the Modular Hard Top to my BL build,,,,, but I'm not going to pay for it twice! Every time I build it with the Modular top it has 2 separate line items for it AND calculates the $1,895 into the final cost as $3,790.
Reservation night!
During all the chaos of trying to quickly reserve my Bronco I didn't realize the FE wouldn't be available with a manual! I added another reservation that night for a BL.
I guess Ford made it easy for me by making the decision for me.
- 2 Door manual is a requirement
- I don't want to own a base model at this point in my life, so that puts me in a BL.
- I wish there was a cold weather package, so now I am pushed to High or Lux.
- Been waiting for far too long...
I was told by my older sisters when I had my 1st child ('03) that I HAD to sell my 2dr Wrangler ('99) for safety and practicality. I did,,,, and in hindsight I didn't need to. For the few times I would have needed to put kids in the back, it would have been totally fine. They also told me I...
On my JKU I have my garage door remote hidden under the roll-bar cover right above the driver. Found a spot I liked, unzipped the cover and placed it in there. Nobody knows it's there and it's really convenient.
Still no excuse for Ford not offering this on the lower trim levels....
