when you take hard top off you will disconnect the rear window washer power and fluid lines through a disconnect. Ford created a convenient dead plug in port to keep it out of the way and secure when the hard top is off

this is the vent on the inside - you can use a pry tool to carefully remove the cover and see what's going on.

correct - there should not be a difference when closing the door especially whether the tailgate is open or closed - which lend me to believe there is something not working on the tailgate relief valves

there is another post that mentioned they took the mic off and reseated it and it solved the problem

behind the rear tire there are four white flaps - make sure they move freely - I also heard that if you have MIC top and it isn't seated correctly then this could cause the same issue

there is a pressure relief valve in the rear tailgate - make sure nothing is blocking or it is not stuck

Any backlighting for accent during the day and ability to operate each of the light pairs independently on separate Upfitter switches? That would be best if you have yellow and white fogs and/or combo
