I like it. Reminds me of the early 2000's Subaru Forester before they exploded in size. I'm just not shopping for a car in that segment, so the regular Bronco is closer to what I'm looking for.
To save time and grief speculating whether this or that engine can be paired with a manual like the sasquatch or 2.7 debacle that's going on, can we safely assume a manual for the warthog has 0% chance of happening?
I honestly think ford will give in eventually. After the first or second year, sales slump and like Doug Demuro said, to keep the bronco "fresh", they're going to have to introduce something we want.
Moral of the story, don't buy the first year.
That dynamic turn signal looks interesting. Can't wait to see a video of them in action.
Edit: Nevermind, the right side tail light has half of it covered up. I thought it might have dynamic turn signals like the mustang.
This is very true, the reality of manufacturing and profit maximization.
Though instead offering the manual, 2.7, or the sashqutch as options across nearly the entire line up, Ford should have created one or two models with those options combined. Like a low tier 2.3/manual/sasquatch and a...
You're right about the torque capacity being too close for comfort. Even with the high output version, one simple tune of the 2.7 and it's over the capacity. I was hoping they might pair it with the 2.7 in the later years, but this confirms that it will never happen. It would have to be another...
I think the wildtrak has it a wider track because of the standard squatch pack.
So a Badlands + squatch pack will have that same wider track as well as any other model with the added squatch pack.
Wow my enthusiasm for the bronco went from 100-0 real quick after reading the spec sheet showing only manual for 2.3.
I would settle for an automatic only if it was a V8 and that is still a rather large compromise on my end.
Not surprise, its interior is a lot bigger than its outer appearance suggests.
It would have been cool to see the Bronco Sport continue along the lines of the Honda Element's concept of utility instead of the ruggedness sell, but I can see since it has the Bronco nameplate plus with the huge...
I don't know see how they would be able to do drop down tailgate when the spare tire is mounted on the tailgate. Unless the spare tire was mounted on its own swing out coming out of the bumper.
