This folding trailer is a great recommendation! Weāve been looking for a solution for taking the kayaks when we go kayak in camping in more remote locations, they are bigger so loading them both up on the roof of the bronco hasnāt been a great option. Thanks for the link! Didnāt even know they...
Thanks for the link for the crossbar! Gotta save money where I can, apparently off-roading is an expensive hobbyā¦ā¦..
honestly I do prefer the look of the GFC super light, looks great on your rig. But Iāve been happy with my RTT so shanāt do too much complaining. Always happy to meet up to compare!
Truthfully? Itās less about you and more about them.
people use the term āmall crawlerā, āgrocery getterā, and āsoccer mom carā because it makes them feel superior somehow.
But anyone who has to name call someone else to feel better about themselves has some growing up to do š
He gets to sleep in the car while we sleep in the RTT. Definitely no way Iām lugging him up the ladder š. But we have a situation where my son and husband sleep in the RTT and we also have the deep sleep mattresses for the back where doggo and I can sleep. Perfect sleeping situation for the four...
Ok, got the best pics I could manage of the mounting points š¬
Sorry for the late response, we all got covid this week
But sounds like you already ordered the tent and this wasnāt a make or break issue for you. Congrats on your new tent!
Omg Im just glad all involved were ok. The more accidents I see people walk away from in the Bronco the more confident in its ability to keep people safe. Best wishes whatever you decide to do!
Yes Iāve been following the gold country broncos page as Iām not ever on Facebook. Would love to make it out with you all sometime, just waiting for another Sunday as I work every Saturday. It would be nice to go in a group since last time I went in the snow my transmission buggered out and I...
Looks like a good starting list! How do you like the go fast superlite RTT? Was initially looking for one but then they stopped making them. Iāve got the inspired overland RTT-also super lightweight-hoping to see how it does in colder weather soon
This seems like such a welcoming group. As Iām in sacramento Iāll definitely try to make it out with you all one of these weekends! Could definitely use the guidance, but itās kind of an intimidating hobby to break into.
Meh, as was proven by last years boom and this years buckle of the used car market, Iām not going to hang my hat on what it will be worth at the eventuality that Iāll sell it. Iāll keep my pinstripes of pride as a reminder of the good times Iāve had in it and not worry about how much itās worth...
Iāve got the BD mid and at times wish I had a little more ground clearance that the SAS would have provided. But thatās an easy aftermarket modification that I plan on doing. The steel bash plates have saved me quite a few times. And honestly the times Iāve needed more ground clearance have more...
Ok fair enough. I guess Iāve just always looked at it as spending a lot of money on a car didnāt make sense to me (I usually buy used) but just having the car I couldnāt justify spending the money, itās all the doors of the places I can get to that are now open to me that made it worth it.
Genuinely curious, if youāve no plans to off-road why did you choose the Bronco? It just is so geared towards getting off the beaten path it seems like such a long frustrating process for something so expensive when there are certainly more fuel efficient comfortable vehicles availableā¦..
Not a...
I think thatās a rad looking jeep! And donāt worry about your post not being well received. I think these kinds of posts give the rest of the forum an idea of how many people are tired of waiting and justifies the rage at ford. Great that you made a choice and can go enjoy the wide open roads!
Perhaps pineapple pizza and flan for dessert means ford will send us a free Bronco that arrives at a set predetermined date with no delays š¤·āāļø
Itās worth a try. And if nothing else youāve had a good meal!
