$100 was for reservation way back when Bronco was introduced, which Ford no longer does for Bronco. Your deposit is something completely different between you and of your dealer. All dealer operate differently, I ordered 2 Broncos from 2 different de as lets without reservations or deposits.

Funny thing is that they still offer the XL Maverick, which is essentially a base and it’s priced around $25k…..

Ford realized they could charge $10k more minimal upgrades. I love my base, but realize I’m in the minority. I’ve literally seen 4 base models with in 2 years.

I have a 2 DR September 2022 build and have no issues…..yet. I do stare at the top about every other week to see if there’s any changes. Don’t tell anybody, but I do go through a car wash a couple times a week!

How much would you take for it? I could send UPS labels.

I’m at 21 MPG on a 2 door base manual using cheap gas, mixed highway/grocery runs, no mods.

There will never be a ‘work’ or ‘base’ available, again. Ford’s ‘work’ small vehicle is the XL Maverick, hence why it’s still available at $23K. Jeep is rightfully so advertising their ‘base’ at $33ish. Ford is WAY off starting at $40k….

The seats in my Base are more comfortable and firm. Can’t speak on the MGV, but fir some reason, I feel like they’d be softer. Must be memories of growing up on a lake with a boat.

For what it’s worth, my wife and I were T Boned by a Tahoe in her Fusion. We were spun around and we’re fine, no visits to a Dr or anything. Cars these days are safer than we think. Glad everyone is ok.
