Exactly! Even before any rear camera recall all of any vehicle I wondered if inspection failures due to the rear cam would cause resale issues. Imagine having to pay to have one replaced in order to sell.
Just received a letter from Ford informing me the rear camera now has a fifteen (15) year one time replacement warranty should it fail. I had the rear camera recall carried out about a month ago. Doing the math , fifteen years makes it more than likely a “ life time warranty” in my case. Lol.

The outstanding “ sorta kinda recall” on my 2011 F 150 has you beat. “ If it acts up then bring it in” was the response to the “ floating recall”. Transmission related.
