The Ford engineer who spent the better part of the past few months redesigning this and then reading this thread:
Like itās a bull bar from the factory... most stuff like that people go aftermarket anyways. The fact Ford is offering something that even a decent amount of people like is damn...
Keep in mind this is the very first month of production they are releasing from what I saw... most of them were the priority orders and first editions. July/August/September/October/November are going to be huge production months where most of the ā21 Broncos are made.
I will keep the sas and then go straight to King coilovers when itās time for 37ās. No point in changing unless itās going to be a pretty significant upgrade. IMO what I saw on that 4wp bronco was a downgrade if anything.
Reminds me of my buddies old FJ 60. So many stupid vaccuum lines and other crap. The 2.7 may not be the simplest thing ever but all that stuff at least has a purpose.
People just want to complain about something. The engine bay looks fine to me, spark plugs/ coils/belt/accessories donāt seem to be too bad. Which is the most 90% of us would probably want to do to the engine anyways.
Hereās my thing, just like a Jeep if something goes catastrophically wrong...
I am about as optimistic as it gets. With sedans dead and sports cars dying out, the āSport SUVā is going to be truly the future. And the Bronco along with Wrangler will dominate that market that will continue growing.
I wouldnāt be surprised to see Bronco selling 200k+ a year by 2030.
Our boy Mattās Off-road Recovery commented on YouTube the frame looks like itās made for a SAS. (He said he looked at the bare frame they had on display... given he just swapped an LS and tons into a corvair Iām inclined to believe him)But Loren Healy also said their basically Ultra4 IFS will...
